Hi there! :)

Atm, I'm playing 21,6/18 in 30k hands, so I think it's TAG allready. Some time ago my stats were 19/17, but during the coachings some of the advices were to increase SB's RFI, flats from all positions, bluff 3bet and bluff 4bet. Was working on that for some time and the result is still TAG, but not too tight as it was. In first 12k hands my winrate was around 10 bb/100 + rakeback of around 4 bb/100 and was playing like 23/20 then. So, if we would look just at those numbers, would conclude that this was working in small sample. When I started to loose, decided to tighten a bit, but that didn't work, either. So, basically, atm I'm searching for the most suitable strategy. Very significant fact is that if I take my last 17k hands, the showdown winnings are -€11,52, and I've played 20,8/17,6, with 27% WTSD during that period, which is totally normall. That could indicate that the variance took over. Overall, the sample size is too small to make any conclusions and changes, imo. So, the plan is just to stick with the play I think it's optimal in all situations, be patient and learn as much as possible (for example, I think I have the most posts at Hand discussions for No Limit Forum latelly). There's nothing more i can do. The roll is big enough for NL10, and I hope I wont lose 25 BI's more, to be forced to move down. But nothing will change if I will, will make moves accordingly. To be a reg at NL20 is anyway this year's goal, and I think that with the right attitude this is totally reachable, and I will do it!

Didn't play alot lately, just about 2k hands. Enough to return some lost money, about 3,5 BI's. It's football night today here in Croatia because one of this guys will reach the final of the Champions League:

So, Luka Modrić and Mario Mandžukić, wish you the best of luck today! (I know they will read this before the match). For me, the best outcome would be that Real Madrid pass to the final and Mario score! ;) Then they both could win the World Cup in Brazil! ;)

Hi, guys!

Poker-wise, I'm going through the hardest time in my life. My losing strike lasts almost two months now, in which I lost ~€400. I just feel like I fall into a black hole and can't get out. Was trying everything to stop this - losen up, tighten up, charts, analyses, taking a break, meditation.. Nothing really helped. Every time I sit at tables, I just know that will have a losing session. I'm sick of running into Aces with my Kings, losing with Aces vs pocket 5's, losing flips, losing vs better sets, losing vs all kind of crap that calls two streets with bottom pair and hits two pairs on the river, bluffs that don't work, draws that don't hit, playing bad, feeling helpless.. I'm just sick of it.

Some time ago I was taking shots at NL20 and life seemed to be beautifull. I had an impression that I can master it in no time.. Every session was a winning one, NL10 looked like a history that will never come back, and NL50 was a bright future. But then I got a punch into my head. The guy who limped T8 from the UTG and hit a straight on 679 board, which crushed my pocket 7's, was like an apocalypse rider for me. He swinged with a sword and took my poker life.

And now I'm sitting at my computer and just don't know what to do next. I hate poker, I hate life, I hate fish, I hate regs, I hate shortstacks, I hate midstacks, I hate NL10. I feel like shit when looking at nice growing graphs where the blue line is going up to the sky and the red line is refusing to drop down. I just look at them and think "How the fuck is that possible?! Am I the biggest morron that have ever lived?!! Am I the biggest fish that have ever played poker?!! How the hell could I have that?!! What the fuck am I doing wrong?!!!". I'm shame to admitt that my graph at NL10 looks like this:

I wish my red line would also be straight. _frown: But can't even have a growing blue line. _cry:

So, I really don't know what to do. The fact is that I'm stucked and don't see a way that I can get out of this alone. I think I have enough knowledge to beat that micro limits. I had coachings last year and the coach couldn't find any big leaks, just small ones that I was working on and I think I fixed some of them. I regulary post hands into hand evaluations, comment, think about hands, analyse, watching videos, reading and rereading articles, making notes... I just don't know what more can I do. Is it just a variance? Who knows. It may be, but I don't want to rely on that. I want to be good enough to overcome the variance. I'm really frustrated right now and would like to get some suggestions about what to do. Atm I'm thinking of paying for some more coaching sessions, just to give me a dose of self-confidence and encouragement to keep on. My BR would be barelly enough for NL10 then, but maybe it would be worthed... Also, I will post my positional stats, so maybe some of you, guys, could spot something out of line.

The current BR: €595,43

Hi to all! (if someone even reads this)

So, played about 4,5k hands since last post. Got some bonus installments and the rakeback, so increased the BR a little. Think I put myself together a bit, but again had some really unlucky spots, which made me angry and tilting a bit. Will mention just a couple of them. Run KK vs AA once, but didn't manage to beat even AQ in this one:

Can do nothing about it, but I do really believe that was at the wrong side of a coin last two months. With bad beats and bad luck comes tilt and bad play, which I have to work on. But I also believe it has to turn around eventually and that day is closer and closer. Just watch me. :f_cool:

You're right. As a standard, I should probably 3bet for value. Not at home atm, so can't review the hand, but I assume the CO is a bit tight, so I decided not to 3bet because probably wouldn't be called or 4betted by worse. At that particular hand, I don't believe he would flat or 4bet bluff A6s (he probably should 4bet bluff), so with calling I kept the weaker hand in his range. I probably also didn't expect the BB to squeeze.

Hi, guys! To begin with good news, my bankroll didn't decrease from the last post! The bad new is that it didn't increase much.

Anyway, I think something starts to move and feel much better at the tables. Managed to regain some BI's at NL10 and improve the winrate (or should I say, losserate) a bit. Since there's no traffic at NL10 in the mornings, I decided to play some NL20 at Poker770 to collect StrategyPoints and to earn a gold status for next month to be able to watch some more videos here. Too bad I'm at the wrong side of a coin at NL20 atm. Yesterday and today lost 2BI's there, which is 4BI's for NL10, but who cares. Will post the biggest hands to show you my toughts.

#1. Hit a set and decided to check/raise an open raiser, which is a regular, and a CO fish. The turn was pretty bad, so was thinking about check/folding, but then I realized that the UTG has QQ+ more often that a flushdraw on the flop (the only hand which makes sense, other than QQ+ is AhKh, maybe AhQh), and the CO has only €3,3 left. So decided to shove. The CO's hand surprised me a bit.

Turn: ($17) 6 (3 players)
Hero bets $14.40 and is all-in, UTG folds, CO calls $3.30

Hero mucked 7 7 and lost (-$8.90 net)
UTG mucked and lost (-$5.60 net)
CO showed 9 8 and won $22.42 ($13.52 net)

#2. The BTN is a fish, so wasn't sure what to do on the river. 9 is somehow good because it's less likelly that he has 9x, but my value bet is really thin, I think. Anyway, decided to bet/fold to control the size of a pot and to prevent him from checking behind. Too bad that he hit a gutshot on the turn. :megusta:

#3. The SB is a shortstack fish. Think I have enough equity to call his flop shove. I have a gutshot, a nut flushdraw + overs that might be good (actually, they were in this partucular hand).

#5. The UTG is a fish. Think I had to bet/call the river. Somehow I tought that he will maybe fold Ax because would be scared of a fullhouse, or 8x because would be scared of a better fullhouse. So, decided to check/raise. And yeah, I consider this as a not so much lucky hand.

Had another session of NL10 and didn't go very well.

#1. Run with AK into AA against an aggro SB vs CO. Maybe it was too lose to 3bet/shove, but decided to do that as soon as he open raised.

#4. Decided to bet the turn because I believe he had a better hand, something like Ax, or a pocket pair, which he might fold to my bet + had a nut flushdraw. Was surprised when saw his hand, but he didn't play it that terrible, I think.
