I actually felt that I played this hand ok
- 3-bet pre-flop I thought was ok
- Flop - I was betting for protection from the flush draw
- Turn - I hit trips with good kicker so was going for value. His re-raise all-in was an easy call for me as I planned to shove on the river anyway.

In terms of his range, he was on the button so I was figuring any Broadway, I ruled out QQ-JJ (as he would have re-raised), but figured he would call with any lower pair down to 22.

On the flop I was worried about KQ, but when a K hit the turn I figured it was less likely.

Did I play the turn correctly? I couldn't check but I was pot committed by the turn bet and actually I was way behind.

Hi,

Pre flop - MP seems to be pretty tight I would prefer calling AK to 3betting it. If he was looser 15%+ then 3betting is the better option.

Flop - bet is too big here. This flop isn't exactly fantastic for our hand although it's good because both KQ hits his open call range very well. It's better to bet the standard half pot here and fold to a check raise.

Turn - bet is fine, I don't mind checking if he bets alot for the purposes of check raising all in. But since we have no stats I'll assume he's checking back too often so betting is great here for value from flush draws and Qx and worse K. When he jams here he could have a full house 77 KQ which beats us, and also KT KJ and a bunch of flush draws that calls on the flop and now feels committed and doesn't know what to do and just jams. Very clear call here because we are far ahead of his turn jam range.

Thanks
