Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has K♥ K♠

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 2 BB, Hero raises to 7 BB, fold, BTN calls 5 BB

Flop: (15 BB, 2 players) A♦ 8♣ T♥
Hero bets 7.2 BB,

villain is TAG cbet 60
preflop villains min raise from btn is probably a steal but I will be oop and giving he a free flop if I just call so I 3bet he flats
flop the A high is not good if I check he will cbet in position and i wont know if I am wawb so I bet out turning my kk into a bluff
your thoughts?

Hello,

I like your play here. Flatting preflop is out of option in my opinion.

Flop bet is fine, as we keep the initiative and we don't mind to take the pot down right here.
Check/calling with lead us in tough spots on turn/river.

Best,
Plamen
