NL10 SH zoom 2 overs + OESD

Hey,

On this flop in these positions, both your and BB's range are fairly equal in strength. Hence, both betting and checking are fine imo. Unless you think villain is c/raising way wider than he should, I think betting is probably going to be better than checking.

As played, turn is good. River is a very thin bet already, I think i would probably only bet 1/2 pot since you're mostly trying to get calls from one pair hands.

Because I think our line seems really weird, I wanted to bet bigger on the river to make my range a bit more polarized, so villain

a) would bluffcatch more
b) wouldn't get an idea to turn his hand into bluff (I think villain has a really good spot to represent flush on the river, because we rarely checkback flushdraws on the flop)

Is that just plain stupid on this board?

ps. I only now noticed you wrote villain is BB. Misread or miswrite?

Actually when read the hand through, thought that the BB called instead of SB. But essentially the analysis is very similar regardless.

a) he needs to call larger % of his range against a smaller betsize. A large betsize allows him to fold more often and probably up to a point where he only needs to continue with hands like 2pair+, meaning your value bet might actually be too thin given how many flush combos he can have here.

b) not all too sure bet/calling the river here is +ev. I doubt a random guy on micro stakes is even nearly creative enough to be turning top pair into a bluff here.
