Small info on villain:

Spoiler

Question is about barreling. I wasn't sure thats a good idea but still went for it. I guess i shouldn't pay too much attention to WTSD stat because of sample size?

Imo we should be able to fold out all sort of broadway type hands. Not sure about other ones.

Hi,

flop - this is a super bad flop for our raising range, and smacks his calling range so hard. its a check and give up. betting the flop itself is a mistake, and betting the turn unimproved is a bigger mistake because anything calling the flop is unlikely to fold to the turn, they probably have some sort of pair+ draw combo.

even if his WTS stat is low, its going to be much higher in this situation because he has more draws.

Thanks

Does situation changes if we had lets say Q :diamond:J :diamond:? We could barrel BDFD.

What are the worst non made hands that we could consider barreling?

Something like JT might be good because we block T9? Is it better than QJo?

J9 sounds even better?

hi,

yes it does change.

we can consider betting the flop since diamonds help us, but take note that 9 T which gives us a straight draw also connects the board so only diamond really helps us, ill probably still check though

we can consider check/raising, since betting has little fold equity on this board, and with our hand we can throw it into our check raising range together with sets and straights if hes betting the flop alot.

i think the worst non made hand ill bet here is the 9T OESD nut draw or maybe 9J for a more hidden straight

thanks
