Updated my goals for Dezember after realising that I have to little energy after 9 hours working. I decided to play only the anonymous tables and play my preflop gameplan which I designed. There are many fishes so I should play simple ABC-Poker. This is my goal because I'm not that focused when I grind after working.
I have there 30% rakeback and a 20% bonus . This means I have 50% rakeback! In addition to that at microgaming there are the tables in Euro. This means it is something around Nl70 and perfect for my bankroll.

Enough for today. Now I have a floorball match. Maybe only Scandinavians and people from Czech know which sport this is ;)

Long time no post. And you can imagine what I did in this time...
Switched some platforms, deleted some databases and stuff like this. Made no theory since my last post and was also very lazy in other areas of my life. _confused:

But I have now a bankroll over 4k$ and I play now Nl100 SH on 888. I hope I can play this month still 10k hands. When I drop under 2.8k$ I switch to Nl50.

Only 1 good news for this month. I found a student which plays Nl2 FR on Pokerstars. He beats this limit but he is a nit and we have a lot to work on :)

In the last days of this month I try to play 10k hands and make some thought about my pokeryear in 2014.

Merry Christmas to all of my readers and enjoy the last days of this year :)

Played now enough for this year. Played only around 8k hands because I made more rake and got my gold status on 888 earlier then expected. I have only a 3.3k hands graph because I deleted my database again :f_mad:
My main goal in 2014 will be to play 1 year without creating a new database! Think I made this year around 50 Databases...

Here is the graph. Happy about the 100$ I could win :)

One hand from my session which I played like a fish :f_confused:
On the flop I thought he is aggro and I check for bluff induce. But now I hate it because I have on this board second nuts (I think only hand he can beat me is AQ). He can try to bluffraise or semibluff me or call with worse. So much value in a bet on the flop. Just play ABC-Style and print money on 888!

I work the last two days of this year but I try to work at my goals for 2014. Tomorrow in the evening I have time to think about how I will plan the new year, because this year I the poker stuff very lazy and had no discipline! Read today the blog from ursusmm and got inspired by his weekly spreadsheets. I think I'm going to do something similar.

Two hands which I will post tomorrow in the evaluation forum.

Hand 1

Here a hand vs a loose Reg. He 3bets vs BU steal 12%. I thought I have a A blocker and can bluff4bet him. Don't know much about how regs call 4bets oop.

Hi nice blog, i am one of those who just read but rearly comment.
U didnt post results of hands so i got curious and first one i think its fine 4-bet w blocker, i think he had AQ-AK with one club, but tho the way he played with small bet turn and shove river u might be sometimes beat but call is fine tho u have to rely on reads.
2nd hand yeah thats mostly a fold and if not fish then reg had 78 also good to remember you have bottom set so you still sometimes can be up against higher one, but yeah reg prob had 78.

also get in more hands and play more since variance can be really bad, like 50k hands a month is actually not a lot more like 100k+ is fine. :) gl

I don't know the exact hands but in hand 2 the reg had KQ and the fish something worse

Yes I know that I need to play more hands. But because I work and have to learn a lot for my test I can't play a high volume. But I hope I can reach in 2014 300k hands on 888. Thats around 50h every month which I should achieve.

2014

New year, new start, new goals!

Here are my goals for this year! Hope I can achieve the most of them because they are not very hard to achieve. :)

[ ] 1 Database

That means that I never delete hands or create a new Database. In the end of every month I save my hands somewhere on dropbox or something like that, that I have them even when my PC crashes. This is my main goal!

[ ] 12'000$ Winnings

Hope I can earn 12k$ or more to cash them out and put it to my money for my medical study. This means around 1000$ every month and this should be possible.

[ ] > 250k hands at 888
That means I play only at 888 poker. I have to play around 40 hours every month and should also be possible.

[ ] Weekly plans
I try to post here every sunday a weekly plan for the next week and check my last weekly plan if I could achieve what I had planned.

[ ] Lose 8kg until 18.5.
Made a bet with my girlfriend. Because I am 80kg heavy and my height is only 175cm. That means my BMI is 26 and I feel that I am too fat. Should be an easy goal because I made this 3 or 4 times :f_biggrin: I love eating and also fast food. But when I'm over 80kg fat I have to lose weight until I can eat again what I like :) I think otherwise my weight would be around 120kg and it would be dangerous for my health.

[ ]Know every country where it is and its capital city
Something for my general knowledge Played this game *klick* and noticed that I didn't know where many countries are :f_o:

[ ]Keep the blog alive
I try to post at least 4 times every month!

Here are my weekly goals for the first week in this year. When I've done something I color it green and when I haven't done something it will be red. Thanks to ursusmm for the inspiration for this plan.

First week of this year is over. I'm content with my progress although I couldn't achieve every task. I was lazy on Saturday and Sunday and slept each time over 9 hours. In the future I try to get earlier out of the bed and only sleep between 6-8 hours. More hours are useless and just wasted hours! Life is too short to sleep over 8 hours

Here is the finished spreadsheet from the first week.

Played solid poker and could grind 3.5k hands. Thats 500 hands more then expected :)
Results are also nice and I could win 2 hands in the last session for 100bb (AK>KK, Set vs Flushdraw). This was a perfect finish for this week :)

But had no time to review my hands. Think I'm going to make this next week.

First hand I went all-in was one of the sort where you push you're money in the middle and you think the money is already yours because villain can only have weaker holdings. At showdown my face looked like ?( --> :f_eek: --> :f_mad:

Next week will start in this blog on friday or saturday. I have to go to a seminar about violence and how to react correctly and stuff like that. I have to do this because a work now in a psychiatry in the secure unit.
So next post you can expect Friday or Saturday.

Back from my bullshit seminar about nonviolence. Would be good for a 12 year old boy who don't know that you never should hit the other person and try to argue with words  ...

Spent the day until now with my girlfriend so I haven't done something for this week. Because of that my weekly spreadsheet has only 1 day. Here it is:

Played before I wrote this post a couple of hands. The 6max tables were full of regs so I started the fullringtables. But I recognized that I can't play them anymore. Very tight ranges and most regs have pretty obvious leaks but it is very boring :f_confused:
Therefore I will play Nl50 SH tables when the Nl100 SH tables are full of regs and not very soft.

But I learned one thing by my fullring excursion. I forgot the basics about odds and outs and should learn it immediately. I will do this right after this post.

Here are the hands where odds and outs knowledge would be helpful

Hand 1 Didn't know if I could call turnraise without implieds.

Second week is over... to be honest sunday is over

You can see in the spreadsheet that I played at 24hpoker. I got a reminder that I have there still a bonus to clear. I have to do only 100€ rake left to get the bonus which is 100€. That means I have during playing 130% rakeback :)
So it would be pretty stupid not to play there.

Played now there around 2k hands and I can't win any flip ;(
First I thought like:
"when I lose more than 100€ during grinding there, it was -EV and I could do better things in this time"

But then I realized that this are very fishy thoughts. I'm sure I can beat Nl50 there and with 130% rakeback the whole situation is +++++EV. What I thought above is like you lose AA vs QQ and think after that, that it was -EV.

24hpoker in week 2

And in the end the overall graph from week 2 in bb:

Here is my weekly spreadsheet

I made now over 100€ rake on 24hpoker and the result is overall -58€ although I had 130% rakeback :f_confused: . But I think I play there in addition to my 888 hands around 5k hands every month. I play there only the anonymous tables and there are a lot of bad players. And I want to beat this stake and have winnings in the end of the year at this limit :)
Last good point is I make over 125$ rake to maintain my gold status here and so I can post and read the Nl100 evaluation forum.

Here is my "Bonus-Grinding-Graph":

Long, long, long time no post! Last time I played poker was in January....

But what happened in this time?

Spoiler

I realised in January, that I don't have enough time (and power) to work 45h a week, have a girlfriend, make something with friends, learn for my NC (Numerus Clausus) and play poker and make some theorie.
Therefore I cancelled poker for a while. But as you can imagine I didn't spend more time into learning ;)
But with the 4k$ bankroll I flew in May to South Africa with my girlfriend and spent there 5 weeks and enjoyed the country. Maybe when I don't know what to write, I will post some pictures.

And today I had my NC and I don't think I will succeed because I haven't done enough because I decided, that I'm going to study in September 15. Therefore I have in a year next chance to pass the test and this year I couldn't motivate me enough to learn every evening ;) Lazy guy like many other poker players

What now?

Grinding it up: 50$ ---------> 10'000$

I decided to try to build a Nl200 bankroll again out of 50$. I tried this 2 times before and both time I struggled at Nl10/Nl25 because I wanted to play higher and this low stakes were boring. I hope this time it is different and I can play this 500k - 1 mio hands without a break :f_biggrin: I was also inspired by flix with his grinding it up challenge.

I think I'm going to play in this BRB-Project also some SNGs and some FL because I play now 6 years poker, but I think less then 10 SNGs or Tourneys and I can't remember that I played one hand FL
I hope I can learn these two varieties during my challenge and extend my knowledge of poker.

How long will it take?

Because I play poker now only for fun and have always other stuff to do, it will take more then a year. I hope I can achieve my goal until the end of August 15!

BRM

And now start to play poker! After 6 month I look forward like a little child to play some hands :)

Played now around 1k hands and could win a few stacks. First I wanted to play on 888, but then I realised, that I am now untracked there and I can't reach silver/gold status to watch some new videos :( Therefore I have to play at 24hPoker first to earn some points.
In my challenge I will play on both sites! Only problem is that 24hpoker is in euro ond 888 is in $.... But I will treat 24hpoker like it is an $ site and the problem is solved.
Only rule is, that I can't switch during a stake. That means when I start to play a stake on one site I have to complete it there and when I have the amount for the next stake, I can play the new one on the other site.

Here are the rules for my challenge!

Grinding It UP

:diamond: 50$ ----> 10'000$ with 6max

:diamond: Only on 888 or 24h Poker!

:diamond: Only switch site after completed a stake!

:diamond: Only winnings count! (Rakeback/Bonus don't count)

:diamond: Until august 2015!

:diamond: Rakeback/bonus I have to put on Stars and let it there until the Challenge is finished! Can use it to buy poker books or buy an subscription on a poker platform!

:diamond: If bored can learn FL or SNGs but only low limits and after my BR > 300$

Here a hand from my last session. Villain seemed to be a solid reg but call OOP ATo, don't like it very much. Luckily I could turn trips :)

Today I started working back in workshop (is this the right word?) as an electrician. Was pretty exhausting to work 9.5h because I didn't work on my profession for over a year. Had to make some braindead work and it was pretty boring. But I have to do it the next 2 month because I need the money for my study! Actually I shouldn't complain because I earn 350$ a day and can't do that with poker :)

I decided to make again every week a plan with things I want to do this week. Because I'm working now I don't have enough time make a good volume in poker, but here is my plan.

Every evening I'm very tired... It is very hard for a student and/or pokerplayer to stand 10h a day Hope I can accustom as soon as possible!

But I could also play some poker and have now 2353 hands. Tried to play ABC-Poker and fold when the fish raises or makes a big bet! Don't think too much and try to interprete something in this big bets like:
"he knows, that my range is weak, now he makes an overbet on the river to get me out of the hand".
NO!!! This is Nl2 and nobody thinks further than his own hand!!

Working week is over and a great weekend started now :)

While working in the workshop I thought about my spoken English skills and how can improve that. When I came home from work I just started to download a program to record a video!

In the end of the post you can see what the result is

I know the video is very bad and have endless points to improve, but personal I like to see videos from the beginning and how they improved over a cuple of times and don't like some perfect videos with the subtitle "My first video attempt" which you know that they tried 100 times to get this video

I watched it for my own one time and know some points I can improve:

- record the mouse (forget set that in the program)
- speak same volume over the video
- speak faster (but I have still to concentrate and think about the words I'm going to say _confused: )
- say to which table I refer to
- .....
- .....
- .....

Would like some comments about my first video and hope you can understand everything :)
