Im trying to quit smoking and I need a project to keep the mind busy or something, or perhaps I'm procrastinating, I don't know for sure. Its day three today. I have a blog in the swedish community, but decided to open up one here aswell, another voice for the decreasing fixed limit crowd. I've played poker on and off for a number of years, but I've only been here for three... three and a half perhaps
I've tried other forms of poker, but no other fits as good as LHE I recon, so I'm stuck on this sinking ship! Hoping for the americans to come save us all ![]()
So a short back story perhaps! I'm from Sweden. Started playing poker back in the golden days, 2004 or something. Started out with no limit, a first deposit of $30 on Ladbrokes, was terrified of the amount of money I was gambling with. Sat down at one full ring table and played it silly tight from there, and then I got AA and two players before me went all-in, and I sat there thinking long enough to almost time out before I actually went all-in aswell. Didnt know that much about poker at the time
turned out the others had QQ and KK, and I lost to a K and was devastated, felt like the biggest fish out there. So I had to go figure this out, so I bought a book, super systems, and started to studie from there, later did a new deposit and did alot better from there! Ended up playing LHE later and did so until the launch of World of warcraft
took a long break after that and started playing again when I found this page, through an add on a World of warcraft-page ![]()
So that was then and this is now. I'm not a very successful poker player, I've only played as high as 2/4 since the restart three years ago. I quit alot
but I've always managed to win though, so thats alright I guess, but eventually I quit and spend my bank roll and have to start over again and again. And this time I've done it yet another time, and I'm back at playing 0.25/0.50. But atm my economy in the real world is a bit weak, so I actually do withdraw alot of money from my bankroll, so I'm not building as much as one might want to, and due to this I have a tighter brm running 1000BB. And I'm pretty comfortable at the limit I play right now, I have alot of hands played and I'm still a consistent winner.

I usually play 8-10 tables at a time, can do up to 12 on my screen before it starts to overlap, but overall I do ~750hands/hour. This leading up to this weeks challange! Cause I've been slacking this month and I need some volume, so Im gonna try to play 30k hands before next wednesday. So yea, not more thrilling than that I'm afraid...
but I'm also gonna do an update for each day! oh the excitement! well thats it I guess.
Oh, and I'm sorry for the wall of text and the lack of pretty pictures. I'll be on the look out for something to spice this up.
