Thursday evening update:
I played 2 sessions with 4 tables so far and did get in 49 9-man hypers.
After today i decided to go down in tables again and only play 2 tables to improve better in my game specifically. I think its a pretty big point when trying to increase the ROI and not try to push into multitabling too fast. sure there are some guys playing 16 tables, but i don't think i'm ready for that yet! ♠_cry:
I really wanna be comfortable with playing 2tables first and then start building it up from there slowly again. So this means also cutting down on volume and putting more time into studying SnG strategy.
ROI is currently at 2,2%, which is horrible since i was at over 7% few days ago. I was playing nitty with my short stacks and also started tilting (mentally) after i ran that bad over a few hypers. I really hope i can turn things around now and make the rest of the month count!
Big mistakes:
- way too tight during mid-stage
- way too tight in short-handed-play
- not opening SB/BU enough
- blinding away with micro-stack cause of passive play with micro-stack
- over-aggressive in multiway-pots
- bluffing stack away on low board
- marginal flips during early/mid stage
- wrong timing for 3-bets
Plans:
For the next time i will try to put in more MTTs and focus on playing my 100% every time i do play rather than just mindlessly 4tabling for 3 hours. I will post graphs for this week on sunday, but they look desastrus. Now i try to get that confidence back and start playing real poker again to get the results i want!
I made a decision to switch to the 6-man hypers for now and take a look into the 18-man turbos once i reach SilverStar status for the month. Reasons for the switch are that the bubble is more important in 6-max, less variance and also i feel like there is more study-material and possibilities of improvement.
Thats it from me ![]()
Cheers and gl at the tables
