I did lost that hand, villain had J8 of spades, so i just want to know about the turn bet.was it correct.i though if he is calling wth draws or mayby even small pairs i will not be able to get value on the river if he didn't hit it.or i had to ch/f or ch/c

I think you played it well.

Very hard to get away from TPTK.

Preflop, the raise is fine. Villain makes a bad call IMO.

You bet the flop, perfectly fine. He flat calls.

Maybe you could bet smaller on the turn (1.5k)

On the river, you can always bet/call, check/call as well

Preflop i would raise higher, at least 750 here. Flop also higher, because it is quite draw heavy. About 1200 to 1300 or so would be fine, i think. If you bet again on turn, it means that you are willing to broke with that hand. But the river i would definitely not bet/call but check/call only to give Villain the opportunity to bluff his busted draws. You barely will get more value by betting a 3rd time from hands weaker than yours.

750 is just 2.5bb and we are still deep enough. It is just 7% of our stack. So we want prevent others from calling with speculative hands, low pockets for set mining or trash for too good odds. Especially the BB gets odds to call with too much trash if we raise too small. I would gradually lower the preflop raise size the shorter the effective stack is, trying not to exceed about 8%, because that is enough to give bad implied odds to others. On the other hand 2.5bb is still small enough to be able to profitably steal blinds from late position, if we don't have a too loose image (and therefore too much resistance).

The thing is that if opponents like their hands, it really don`t matter if we open 2.1x, 2.2x or 2.5x.

e. It`s fine to open 2.5x though.. But what I`m trying to say is that I don`t believe it will narrow opponents calling ranges much or at all.

mm yea I did raised smaller because villain calling range is huge and does not matter 2.2 or even 3bb, so risk less on pre-flop, hit TPTK , unfortunately hi hit 2pair on flop.

2x is plenty at this blind level. There is no reason to make it any more.

Hey guys!

2-2,5b depending on the table and the fishyness is fine. Flop bet on this super drawy board is way2low!

Turn could be b/f as played. ch/c > jam -> because all draws bust -> you iso yourelf against jx hands, you block a kx hand...

I also 2x pre....

Bet more on the drawy flop...

I actually dont understand why you shove river ....

C/Call or blockbet/fold is better imo.

The reson is: What should he be calling an AI on the river with that you beat ?
A weaker TP ? nahh

And you dont get him to fold anything that got you beat...

So why shove ?
