I would be check-calling this half pot bet in river. Every draw has missed and villain looks aggressive from his preflop stats. I doubt this player would slowplay big pockets so I would not be that afraid of those. He can have flopped set of course and sometimes 2x, but there is also decent chance he would play those hands more aggressive earlier streets.

So check-calling river and playing same way otherwise.

I would, for no reason there, check and fold on the river. I would either check-call or check-raise. If he has the nuts you'll know it. If you were to fold atleast don't give him such a chance to bluff at you.
He could easily have a suited ace with a five?!
So when you checked it might've looked to him like YOU missed your draw and so he thinks he's in shape and can make a semibluffbet
That means: He's got Top Pair you got an Overpair. He calls you because that's what he's supposed to. He then calls another bet, slightly smaller this time (only half the pot) so there's no way he's got top pair and wouldn't call.
The 2 could simply not have helped you in like ~65+ percent of the time so he keeps calling.

This is weak postflop game on the latter streets, work it out just keep in mind that you should never portray your weakness in a big pot (!) and only fold to such a bet when you KNOW you're beat.
