Beginners SnG analysis – Page 4

Hi guys, As alot of you will know I had to withdraw my roll due to personal reasons, and wont be grinding again for a few months. To keep me active, and to keep my poker thoughts active I've had an idea. I am offering SnG players the chance to send me a video of themselves playing, and I will evaluate your play. I will tell you what mistakes your making, and hopefully help you with bettering your game. If your having problems with a certain stage of a SnG, you can send me a video of you playing multiple SnG's at that stage. You can upload your video to the internet, and send me the download link via skype, MSN, email or the pokerstrategy IRC channel. I would prefer if the video's were around 45ish minutes. The video should be of you playing your usual limit, and playing your normal style. I would also appreciate it if you would talk while recording. I would like to know what your thinking when you make decisions, and why you are playing hands in a certain way. This will help me understand why you are making certain mistakes. I can either analyse the video by text or by me talking over your original video, and then sending it back to you. EDIT: If you guys could send me the hand history file of a certain SnG instead, that would be great. I will then replay the SnG, and talk over the video. Its much easier for me, as atm I cant create the video's of other peoples video's (computer problems). I would like the people who have a video evaluated, to make an incentive for me to do it (just like in tribuns and soys staking threads, in the past). This could be either: welcoming "X" amount of new comers to the forum, agreeing to post "X" amount of sample hands, answering "X" amount of questions on the forum, or just posting "X" amount of forum posts. Or your own incentive. I will do it on a gentlemans agreement, and trust the people will complete their part of the deal. That way you wont have to wait for you video to be evaluated. I hope you guys take advantage of this, as it will be the only time I focus on strategy play in the next few months, and it will help me stay active. I'm sorry to bring this thread back to life...
I understand your being busy in your personal life but anywho I wanted to ask you if you could sit down and watch me for some sessions on the $11 sng's... I'm currently struggling to beat this limit and personally I think it's just because of bad beats but ofc. I know I still got some leaks and you might be able to find them
And I know your always looking to make your own game better and well this could open a new dimension in your game... lol at least it could make you a better coach and a teacher

I understand if you don't have time for this since well I understand your busy... But I felt like asking anyhow.

ok so here's the spot
i am button and have created a pretty solid image, not involving in the pot for about 15 hands
on the other hand pl1 has raised 3 times in last 5 hands and he is CO here
pl2 was very active lately also especially pushing any kind of pair 33 & AA observed hands pushed by him previous hands

I was trying to do a steal reraise from BU with a pretty decent hand.

my questions are
1. if it was a good move to pick up some valuable chips.
2. how much you should consider stack size/ style of players in the blinds for this move to have a good chance to succeed?
if button fear the blinds holding AK in this situation steal reraise would not exist as a move, i think

The risk is what gives value to an investment. If it were no risk anyone would do it, diluting at such a scale, that profitability will rapidly drop to zero, as more and more late investors come, and at NO profitability there is no investment, QED

I like the resteal with those reads, you normally don't have to worry to much about calls from the blinds.

Hi CRI4BRA,

This is an old thread of mine, which allowed people to send me video's or handhistories. So I could then tell them what they are doing wrong.

The sample hands forum is found here! If you post your hand in that section, it will be evaluated by a professional hand judge.

Also, before you post your hand you should convert it. Just search for hand history converter on google.

As this is an old thread, and I am really busy lately, I am going to close this thread, so knowone else can post in it.
