NL10 -EV river call?

Hi guys,

My query with this hand is if I should be playing it at all? The villain is relatively tight (22/16) and didn't steal a lot.

The plan is to call pre flop because it can play well post flop (and it's a nice looking hand :f_biggrin:). I call the flop as I pick up a part of it and it misses alot of his AX/broadway connectors and he may just be C betting.

I donk the turn just to see if he gives up (assuming he still has nothing), and on the river he isn't really repping anything other than 1010+ i think.

Is the line correct? I have a feeling that plays like this will be -EV in the long run as it is effectively a hero call! Cheers!

Hey Portvalenath,

Preflop defend should be fine here.

Flop options are to x/c or x/r, either should be ok.

Turn donk as a semi-bluff is fine here.

River should be a pretty straightforward x/f after our turn bet gets called, but the rest of the hand is ok.
