AQ flops TP & flush draw

Hey,

Well I'm not a very skilled player (as my bronze icon might show) so maybe I'm wrong.
I guess with "he always had a pair" you mean pocket pair right?
Was he going to showdown with only having a pair or did he hit a set or something in that direction with it? Is he conti-betting a lot?

Lets say he is doing some strange kind of setmining. Then you are already behind when he raises you at the flop. Since you only have a 46% chance to hit the A-set or a flush it shouldn't be very profitable to shove him unless he is contibetting a lot.

In any other case I'd say by reraising he should fold if he didn't hit anything like AX or better.

But as i said ... I'm not the best player ^^

Yes I meant pocket pair, and he was getting all in pre flop with pairs 88+.
Yeah, as you say and the more I think about it, he has a set, I should have just called the flop & evaluated the turn & river I reckon

Exactly. Just call the flop IP. By raising him here, he's put in a tough spot himself with similar hands, so basically you're capping his range: only better will continue and try to get it in. I'd call the flop and also call the turn when he bets around 2-2.5 $ and re-evaluate on the river.
