On flop he is either drawing or you are way behind.
With the 5 on turn the situation changes ... if he was drawing you can surely give him a free card now, if he was way ahead on flop you are fucked anyway.

I'd call river if he bets, and make a valuebet if he checks to me.

That would induce him to bluff on the river... and thats terrible situation due to stack sizes and the fact it's around 70% that the river will be higher card then my 6...

and by betting his standard line should be check/raise on the river so I think I can get a cheaper showdown by betting the turn..

and does his line make any sense for a king?...

i like the line Check/turn Behind to pot control, because with the turn card the possible drawing hand is almost dead now. And you arent gonna take so much of him.

I check behind turn having this in mind. If villain hits his 6 outer then so be it. The showdown costs the exact same, except you keep yourself from being bluffed off the best hand at the same time.
