Hey gabi1986,

4b sizing is very large imo. The guy is not folding to 4bets anyway - we can avoid uncomfortable situations postflop by making it more like $6.50 here.

I'm just going to assume villain has an overpair the majority of the time on the flop. We need about 32% equity on the flop and in reality we just don't have that. If villain has TT-QQ we have about 25% equity whereas if he occasionally slowplays KK/AA we are in a worse spot.

Hi,w34z3l

I think the range u gave him is way to strong....I mean this guy is never folding to a 4b,and is SQ happy in this spot, villain will always have hands like KQ,AQ,KJs,(hands that we beat ,the question is if he plays it this way)....

U gave him such a strong continuation range, because we 4b this big???

TY!

Yeah partly to do with this.

But let me just clarify. I'm not necessarily saying villain calls 4b with only overpairs. I'm talking specifically about his range for donk-shoving the flop.

The reason it's relevant is because we essentially just have a bluffcatcher here. So regardless of opponents call-4b range, unless he's the type of guy to bluff-shove flop here with AQ/AK we are going to be up vs his value-range which is overpairs only.
