Hello,

I just started using HRC couple das ago I would need help. I started with a free trial and spent some time to understand how this program works and how needs to be used. I would like to continue but I stuck. I imported hands from PokerStars and saw couple with diff%- . This particular one is diff% -1.09, so I made something wrongly but i dont get exactly what.

Tournament SNG 180 players, buy in $2,5, Middle phase of tourney (around 100 players left). Blindes 100/200, no ante. Here is the hand:

Hero is BB with cards: A♠ 9♦

UTG: t6261
UTG+1:t2199
MP1: t2048
MP2: t495
MP3: t3297
CO: t1020
BU: t1985
SB: t1200
BB: t1295

UTG raises 400, 7 folds, Hero calls. Pot: 700

Flop: A♦ 7♦ T♣

Hero checks, UTG checks

Turn: 8♠

Hero bets: 417, UTG folds.

Please help me to understand diff% -1.09 in HRC. Is it related to my PF call? What I actually needed to do?

In HRC stands:

UTG raises range: 18.2%
BB calls range against UTG: 5.4%

hey Stojan,
in my opinion you should have shoved/folded. you have 5bb stack (without bb posted) so it's rather optimistic to call 20% of your stack to see the flop. + you have a9 witch is trouble hand as you won't know there you are if you flop an A or top pair 9 because raise came from utg so most of times you will be up against better ace or a bigger pocket pair. i would fold in your spot and wait for a better spot to put your money in

Hey Stojan!

I've made a hrc-calculation. i'm not sure you did it right. You need to make an advanced chipev calculation with calling + shoving ranges.

It is a shove in that spot with 5bb after posted... you beat a few suited ax + a few kx and flip against some pairs!

against 18% or range
you cann call mathematically 91,6% against his range -> but just if you check it down. So can't realize your equity like that. But still you can call wider here if you don't see fe! (jamming without fe and a super weak hand (that you can still profitably call) is bad!

as you can see in my link he just 3bets 8,4% but thats just the values >1,10 -> the rest is also midgreen and in his defending range with the 91% like a9.... Still a9 is hand where I want to see all 5 cards

So just jam it in imo!
