I got a lot of questions about the new PokerStars Spin & Go tournaments format.
I have prepared an article which answers the most important of them:

Hey. Well, definately not 2015, it will be in 2014!As for weeks, to be honest its closer to a few months.
As for teaser, a little later, when I feel more secure to announce it
Just to be clear, it will not include mere "quiz" feature. It will include huge features and also it will include complete professional looks redesign.
Still on track for 2014? Any teasers or more info you can provide?
Hey Ramble.
We are dedicated to deliver in 2014. By the looks of it it won't be before December 15 though, so pretty close to 2015.
As for teaser or more information, expect something exciting later in November. Its going to be breathtaking!
hmmm... my subscription ends December 6th... was hoping to try it out in-depth before then. Oh well - looking forward to teaser at end of month.
You can shoot an email at support@icmpoker.com and request icmizer 2 beta access.
I'll run short closed beta before the release so you can be among the very first people to see whats to come.
It can be a free form message, just let me know its you.
Thanks
Q,
I was hovering over the min EV Diff % box in the Result chart tonight and read the info pop-up you have there. It got me thinking a bit and I'm curious what your thoughts are.
1) It says that "For heads up it can be as low as 0.05% because calculations are exact." Are you recommending that at a minimum it be set to 0.05% as opposed to 0.00%?
2) It also seems to indicate that we should set it higher the more players left to act after us. Am I correct in this interpretation? Do you have recommended guidelines - i.e. 0.05% for every 'x' number of players?
EDIT Does Future Game Simulation impact your answers to either question?
I've been under the impression that if you increase this from 0.00 that you are basically saying that you have an edge on your opponents and can afford to "give up" closer spots because you think you will be able to extract more value on later hands. Do you agree with that interpretation?
Q,
I play KO Turbo Single Table SnG's.
Have you given any thought to including pay-out structures/calculations for these type of tourneys or are the calculations too intensive when trying to include bounties in the ICM results?
Hey Ramble.
About that popup - its very old and it was added before FGS was available.
I should remove that, because right now I am usually recommending using 0% because 0.05% value can be too much in many cases, like MTTs for example.
However, about the source of this idea. The more players are behind you, the more theoretical the results become, because it becomes less likely that they all will stick to push/fold preflop decisions.
If you are on SB and everyone has folded once you push your opponent is also limited to push/fold decision and if you fold, hand ends immediately. So this hand is ideal for push/fold analysis.
However if you are on Hijack position or UTG< if you fold some players may raise, limp etc , do various actions, and they don't limit themselves to push fold.
This creates a big potential mistake in any push/fold calculation, because it simply ignores how the actual real hand will play around. Of-course, we dont have an instrument to take that into account right now, and sometimes at late stages of tournaments players will limit themselves to only pushes and folds. But keep this in mind, there is always some rather big mistake of unknown size when you perform calculations for early positions because of real poker not being limited to 2 preflop decisions.
As for KO's - its not planned for ICMIZER 2 release.
Right now our focus is bringing this highly anticipated update asap, and then think about future plans. So lets get back to this talk later, once ICMIZER 2 is finally out.

Hi Q,
I can appreciate how busy you must be getting this ready for release - just curious if...
Hi,
All the time i see the picture "Please install Silverlight". I have installed it, reset my PC and it's still the same. I have tried google chrome and IE. When I try to install it once again it says that it is already installed. What can I do?

Hi that sounds like you still haven't installed it. Could you send me an email at support@icmpoker.com and attach some information about your system (Mac or Windows) and I'll try to assist you and remove this problem. Thanks!

- Another teaser coming out soon?
- Any update on release date?
Hi. I believe March should be big for news & some big action regarding ICMIZER 2. Stay tuned for the updates!
We've added support for Bovada hand histories (ex Bodog). You can now load and review Bovada tournament hand histories without any problems (or requirement to convert them to PokerStars format first).

The number of hands we tested it on is limited, so there may be some issues. As usual report anything you notice here or @ our email support.
(While we are finishing ICMIZER 2 update, we were able to push a this small but important update to ICMIZER 1)
Thanks
