dell expensive? seriously?

you can get a xpsm1330 with 1 yr warranty for less than 1k, easily. and with really good specs too. pick any configuration, and just make sure you upgrade the graphics card.
those mini dells are for girls ♦ plus if you want a good dell you need to have 1500 eur. Do you even know how does 13 inch screen look like?!?!
LOL
Sony is real quality for around 1000 eur + the specs are important not just the price.
sony = overpriced
ask anyone who deals with it products day in and day out (aka me)
13" is not mini, its pretty standard, the bigger dells are even cheaper. on average, i would venture to say that a similarly spec-ed sony will cost at least 20% more than a dell
XPS M1330
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T8100 (2.1GHz/800Mhz FSB/3MB cache)
Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium Edition SP1
Tuxedo Black
1Yr Ltd Hardware Warranty, InHome Service after Remote Diagnosis
Standard Display with 2.0 Megapixel Webcam
3GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz
Size: 320GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW Drive)
128MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8400M GS
Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Mini Card
56Whr Lithium Ion Battery (6 cell)
High Definition Audio 2.0
Biometric Fingerprint Reader
This costs USD1204 or about 950 Euros
If cost is an issue, go for the cheaper Inspiron line, a similarinspiron should be about 100-150 Euros cheaper
the one laptop has nice specs but i'm always dubious with these non name-brand laptops. When buying a laptop you'll need to carefully consider the warranty policy, and also the build quality of the product. I think you'd be better off looking at reviews from a site like notebookreview.com.
Also ask around about the warranty provided by the company. Not all warranties come equal although they say the same thing on the warranty document. Some companies have more relaxed policies while some can be complete assholes when your equipment fails you.
every one dealing with computer/laptop told you that aces sux... my monther has acer and it crashes down (turn off itself after fev hours working)
but that one looks nice... my homemate at university has same and it is pretty fast... but if you find same hardware in ASUS i will prefer to buy asus
This is a good thread, I'm looking for like exactly the same thing ^^ It seems hard for me to find a laptot with a good graphics card :/
What about this one?

that samsung seems like a pretty good notebook. do find out about the warranty from them / your retailer. Notebook's are a bitch to fix when they get spoilt and you're pretty much dependent on them to get it repaired/replaced so its good to make sure they provide good after sales service.
