So... this happened:

I'm always running so far above EV that I'm convinced I'm a poker prodigy. It's not often that the tables are graced with someone as quick-witted and naturally good as me. As such, I'm proud to announce that I'll be depositing my life savings into pokerstars and moving up to the $100 hyper turbos next week! I'd ask you to wish me luck, but it seems I have enough of that already. ♠_cool:

Of course, I'm kidding
I've been lazy with study this week. I feel that part of this laziness is because I'm becoming complacent with my push/fold ability. I feel I have a solid grasp of the <10bb stack size part of the game, and I've memorized 90% of the profitable open shoving ranges according to Nash Equilibrium. BUT THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. One thing I've learnt from the rapper 50 Cent's life story is that whenever you feel comfortable, whenever you feel like you've got everything under control, whenever you feel like the money will never stop flowing in, THAT IS WHEN YOU WILL FAIL! Complacency breeds laziness, contentment breeds lack of focus. Even though I feel like I know the ranges and can autopilot pre-flop, I still have leaks!! One leak I can think of is pre-flop calling ranges when late position players shove all-in. My calling ranges are alarmingly inconsistent, and this is my next big thing to focus on. Furthermore, since moving up to the $3.50s, I'm now in an environment with twice the amount of regs, and it would be in my best interest to analyse their game and figure out how to exploit them. Because if they are anything like me, they will have many leaks and inconsistencies. One thing I see often is unbalanced ranges (eg: minraising with <10bb stacks when they hold monsters), so I know there is more to be found.
Next weeks goals:
- 500 sample size of SimpleNash quiz for preflop calling ranges
- 13 tabling
- 1k games minimum, including a day where I play 300 games
- hit $75 in VIP rewards for goldstar
- AT LEAST 1 hour of session review every day, including work days
