Poker dead?
No, but I'm dying ![]()
At least my BR is. Last short Zoom session (169 hands) I won one pot. Well, I won a few preflop. I saw 21 flops, 3 showdowns, and won 1 of them. This means card-dead for real. I'm reasonably loose, so these numbers are extreme
At least I didn't lose a big pot as I usually do. It took me a little longer to lose a BI this time.
I almost got a split pot too. The board came a mile away from my hand, so I checked behind flop and turn. The river filled the last gap for the gutshot I had developed. The big blind donked pot-sized, and I thought, well, at least I'll get half a pot (albeit half a small one). But no, he had the nuts ![]()
Perhaps it's time to play limit again and perhaps salvage the remains of my BR?
