I'm getting an 'error: file not found' whenever I try to watch any of the strategy videos on this site at the moment. And ideas how to fix?

Hey vaulsc,

Are you still having problems? They appear to be working now.

Yeah I still can't view. Sorry the actual error message is "Error loading Media: File not found." I get this regardless of choosing html/flash and regardless of firefox/chrome. Is there some kind of jwplayer installation process I have to complete?

Hey vaulsc,

Could you include a link to one of the videos you are trying to watch? It shouldn't be necessary to have anything else.

You could check to make sure you have all the latest updates for Flash, your browser and Windows Update.

Tried removing cookies... its the same on all pokerstrategy videos. Browser and flash seem to be up to date.

I've just realized that the gold and above videos work... but not silver and below (I want to watch silver). That's weird....

Hey vaulsc,

We have a forum revamp coming next week so maybe IT have been doing some work.

A possible quick fix maybe: Instead of clicking the link, try right clicking, 'Copy link address', and paste manually into your address bar.

The problem occurs when I'm actually looking at the embedded video itself.

Hey vaulsc,

Sigh. I've run out of ideas. Wait. One more. Have you shut down and restarted you browser since you cleared the cache.

I have flagged this internally for one of the experts to look at.

If any other user is having the same problem or have had the same problem and managed to resolve it, could they please post.

Regards

Laz

Just found that I can watch the videos via a proxy website. So it must be something to do with my browser settings?

Hi, vaulsc,
Due to local laws, the videos are not available in some jurisdictions.

Where do you live?

Best Regards,
VS
