Just goes to show that bluffs often don't work. Well you still had the flush draw so it was not completely dumb, but let's say a bit risky, since the chance to hit the flush was 1:4.

As played - preflop i like the raise, KQs has a high playability and definitely worth the raise to isolate us against weaker hands.

Flop - Villain called, so without any stats I'd estimate him to be on a halfway nice hand. He checks - that looks a bit weak. You didn't hit anything, but at least a flush draw. J9 would make a nice straight here, but i realistically don't see that in villains range. Would be good to have some stats on him here. If you don't have any stats then at least we should try a c-bet - for information. If you make it at least 2/3 pot then you can determine if he did hit something. If he calls you he probably has at least a pair with one of the cards he did hit on the flop. He might also call on a flush draw, but without stats/notes it is hard to tell if he would do so for a 2/3rd pot bet. If he raises on your bet then he most likely has a set, 2 pair or something like AA, KK, etc.

Unfortunately you let this chance pass to gather more info and just check - which does look a bit weak. Free card but now villain knows nearly for sure you didn't hit anything.

Turn - well he raises. Did he hit a pair? 2 pair? a set? Hoping for a heart flush? The size of the bet is what gives us the creeps - pot size and we are still empty handed. Still one more card on the river and a slight chance for a flush, a Q or a K. But imho not worth calling or even pushing. What you did is a classic bluff, but villains short stack (after his raise the pot pretty much equals his remaining stack) and his play do not look like we can get him to fold. So i would not recommend such a play. Here a fold would have been appropriate since you simply don't have many scenarios where you would still have good chances of winning.

I dont think so. We are 20 Deep pre.. 77-JJ(QQ-AA maybe trap call) he propably AI pre, But u are right taht i need bet flop. On turn he can think i have nothing cause i check flop, an he still have nothing or some draw and he tries steel pot.

I like cbetting/broke with 2 overs + fd. He will fold small pairs + ahigh type of hands against your cbet often enough. If he raises you can still broke!

As played I don't think you can broke off turn against a very strong potsizebet without fe!
