I think it was a great video for myself because of a fundamental mistake i was making consistently, which was hero calling to much. I found the video has helped me improve my weakest area of my game currently and put into perspective the idea of a good fold as just more money in my pocket. I also felt uri explained his thought process clearly and could possibly be my first choice as a coach in the future.

as I think it is a very profound subject that is overlooked by many, most people maybe be able to calculate the SPR but have absolutely no idea what effect it has on all of your decisions preflop and how the SPR dictates what kind of hands you should be looking to play and how much room for postflop play you have amongst others, and I think Tackleberry explained it in a very concise and to the point manner. As I mentioned in the comments section of this video, I am very much into SPR in a PLO context but I never knew which role it played in NLHE and then I just found this video during my morning coffee and it's a freebee even!

One video series that really opened my eyes into ways to examine my game and improve in all areas was Schnitzelfisch's: Learning to Learn Series.

It's a couple of year's old and still very relevant - it applies to all forms of poker, the videos are very simply laid out and each one is only 10-20 minutes - so very digestable.
We read in here so often that if you want to be successful you must work on your game, but often don't discuss what that entails - this video series will give you a great start.

Microstakes maniac from ge5sterne...

Really good video on how to be smart aggresive on lower limits. Made me realize there is another level of poker playing on these limits.

The video which has helped me most recently is W34z3l's 6-max Walkthrough - Preparing For Takeoff by w34z3l. It made me realise I've been playing much too tight from early position, and too tight from later positions. As well as making me feel more confident about playing shorthanded, it's also helped with my full ring game.

Also, the subject is one that I could still very much improve my game, so this video is spot on for me.

So many good reasons why this video is my top pick! Firstly if it wasn't for this video I would never have known about PokerStrategy. My friend told me about the video and emailed me a link to it as he knew I was studying MTT games. So the video will always have a special place in my top poker video list. The video itself has taught me the importance of applying what you learn and studying what you are learning and not just simply watching a video.
For instance I made some great notes while I was watching to help me take in the coaching and also to make it my own.

The video showed me I was playing much too tight from later position, thanks to the easy to follow charts. :f_o::f_thumbsup:

The coach has a great sense of humor too which is nice for people studying and laughs at funny answers to the video. He also includes a quiz in the training which helps bring the notes alive and even those of us that are watching the course in the library and not live can try to answer the questions to help improve our understanding.

Asaban was also my first friend on PokerStrategy as I sent him a friend request after watching which he accepted.

These are the reasons why I love the MTT course by Asaban and the first video that introduced me to PokerStrategy :f_drink::f_thumbsup:

Collin is THE SnG legend whose videos are always very instructive, but this video is especially wonderful because this guide to increasing the 'volume', and hence the hourly winrate (which he proves by calculations), is applicable to all kinds of poker, not only SnGs. Collin gives and explains '4 commandments of mass multitabling' known as MOSH: mark hands during play for post-session review; don't get overwhelmed; stack tables; set up hotkeys for any possible action. He emphasises that mastering mass multitabling is a gradual process, the table count should be increased with caution, when one is beating the limit confidently, and this increase should be first tested out at a lower limit. At the end, he shows a 40-tabling session played by coach KatieDozier314 and analyses her decision-making process and mechanics of the grind.

My troubles before watch the series:
Another videos gave me a plan which hand play preflop. So i did it but have no idea why. Why I´m playing SCs? When are offsuit broadways better ten SCs and when not?
I was total ABC fit or fold player. I often heard things like - this is good or bad runnout. You have at least backdoor FD (have no idea why it is important because chance to complete is too low). Some FD are better to bluff raise another is possible to just call. And a lot of others - but WHY? Sometimes I found out the reason but before watching this series (and other W34z3l's videos) I felt that I´ve already heard the most of things I need to beat at least NL25 but it was like to have 1000 pieces of puzzle but have no idea what is the picture. With W34z3l's videos I finally seen it. Many thanks for this.

Btw. this thread is very useful to find some good new videos which I don´t know. So out of competition I give a tip for one more video, which is from previous year but it helped me a lot and is suitable for all poker formats:

All of PBOGZ's vids are extremely informative, and he is very easy to listen to (which I have found, through experience, is more relevant/important than one might initially think,when considering whose vids to watch and study).
What makes this one my fave tho is the way he explains concepts so clearly and 'simply' and with as few words as required (ie no waffle!) and how he gives definitive alternative plays in most spots and especially where hero makes non-standard/incorrect decisions.
He also gives clear reasons for each and every decision and conveys his thinking-processes in a way that is quickly and easily understood - I can't really find an adequate description of exactly what I mean by this, but I just think his stuff packs more into each vid than some others, sort of like he 'bullet-points' all the important points for the viewer, and makes (sometimes some quite advanced) concepts accessible without going into too much 'heavy-duty' maths theoretical stuff (which, I think most will agree is important in poker, but not really that much
fun to watch in a vid)
HUSnG is definitely my favourite format, and there isn't that much good free content out there in comparison to cash/mtts and even stts/mtsngs, so wasa great find for me!

*** having somewhat of a 3B bluffing range even vs recs was a revelation to me!!!!
