Poker Stars $0.02/$0.05 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 6 players

BTN: $12.17
SB: $12.51
BB: $18.23
UTG: $5.80
Hero (MP): $5.90
CO: $7.55

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is MP with Q♣ 8♣ J♦ T♥
UTG calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.22, 1 fold, BTN raises to $0.70, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.65, Hero calls $0.48

Flop: ($2.17) 9♣ K♠ 4♣ (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $1.35, UTG folds, Hero raises to $5.20 all in, BTN calls $3.85

Turn: ($12.57) 6♦ (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($12.57) 6♠ (2 players - 1 is all in)

Villain is 25/17/5 (vpip/pfr/3bet).I call pre because my hand does good in multiway pots and against AA** .I check on the flop because if he doesn't have aces the rest of his range hits this board and he probably cbet,he would probably cbet with aces...He cbets and with 16-outs I raise and get it in.I'm not in good shape if he has the nut flush draw but against any other hand I don't fair bad even against a set .If he calls with a range of [KK**,44,99,Ac*c,K*] I do have 46.96 equity .Do you think that the line I took was bad??

Hi,

it's the only line you can take. Sure sometimes you are crushed, but more often than not you are fine. You rarely see 44 and 99 in a range that 3bets as well, so his range will be eve weaker on this board. Snap gii.

Regards,

Skod
