SB: $100.50 (100.5 bb)
BB: $101.50 (101.5 bb)
MP: $76.91 (76.9 bb)
CO: $142.25 (142.3 bb)
Hero (BTN): $120.37 (120.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with K A
MP calls $1, CO raises to $4, Hero raises to $11, 3 folds, CO calls $7

Flop: ($24.50) 3 8 K (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $11.50, CO raises to $28, Hero calls $16.50

Turn: ($80.50) 8 (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $38, CO folds

Opp is 23/16 reg with decent agression over 1k hands(stats are not relevant that much because he's winning 60 bb/100 ober that sample)
Should we call or raise flop, what about turn sizing?

I think that betting for protection in this case is not important much, villian might raise some nut bdfd with plan to give up turn, so imo check is better than bet 1/2. i would personally bet/fold 25% pot, to get thin value from those Ax hands. Would also bet all my draws that size, and increse size river if called.
