Hey all
I also have a micro account on pokerstars that I play for a break from the big accounts. I play $1 stt or practice NL2 BSS. If variance drops me to under $2 then I play the $.10 - 360 Mtt.
My strategy for the 360 player dime:
Blinds at 20-30:
(position is not that important)
AA-QQ raise 5x unopened or push vs a raise
99-JJ push all-in
88-22 call for set value
KTs, QJs, JTs, QTs call for monster value (push flop if I hit a 12 outer)
AJ+ push all-in
KQ, KJs, A8s+ raise 3x unopened or call small raise. Fold to re-raise and only continue flop if you hit.
I try not to spend more than 100 tokens calling and save the rest for push or fold
Blinds at 50-100 (or BB 14+)
AA-JJ, AK raise 4x and go all-in if reraised
All other playable hands look to steal (late pos) or isolate fish to your right (mp, ep) raise 3x and only conti-bet when isolating
Blinds 150+ (or BB 13-)
Use the stt push chart
The early game is very fishy, standard raises get you into big multipots, so I prefer to push all-in preflop with most hands, often one player calls you with a rag hand and you get a healthy stack to play with. Once I double through I switch to uber-Tag and wait for a premium hand or push or fold stage (sometimes both happen at once!) IF I get a monster stack I let the cards decide if I tighten up for the bubble or push the smaller stacks around.
These are loose guidelines, I often adjust my play on the fly vs bad fish. I also use this strategy in freerolls.
BR high point: $20.48
BR low point: $.17
Current: $1.77
At .17 I was down to my last game and cashed 5th for 2.4 wooooo
Its the roll that never dies! ♦
Happy chum hunting!
