That is a pretty crazy happening... I'm not sure what the deal is with selling soul online... pretty sure I don't want to know. The only thing that matters is that you took away the positive from the bus encounter.

As for the poker database, I'm glad you are leaving it alone. What is truly more impressive - a graph that shows adversity and persistence and eventually coming out on top (you might even say Tip Top to the Top ;) ) or one that just shows an easy ride without any challenges (...boring)?

Good luck with the tankroll!

Hey Zapout! So enjoying following your blog. Your honesty here is captivating.

What a strange thing about your soul selling and then meeting a religious person the next day! I can relate to being really low and I know the stress you can go through when you are faced with court and stuff. I've also had to defend myself before - and am pleased to say I too managed to avoid ever spending any time in a jail. It's awesome that part of your life is behind you now.

If you feel like exploring spirituality a bit more why don't you do a bit of research and find a decent religion that appeals to you. I am not religious at all right now, but the best religion i've ever seen is Baha'i religion. They have really noble principles and I know a number of Bahai's and they are all awesome people.

Don't mean to convert you or anything here (as I said I'm not even religious myself) but if you're 'searching' then I think that kind of religion will be a breath of fresh air for you, and much better than anything online that is asking you to sell your soul :rage:

I know faith and that kind of thing helped me out a few years ago when I was really at a key part of my life . Anyway hope you don't mind me saying all that just felt like sharing a bit of my own experience as I can relate to so much of what you were saying.

I hope your poker is going well. I totally get your clean sheets in holdem manager too! I've lost track of the amount of databases I've started! There's something pretty neat about thinking to yourself, now I'm going to play just awesome and this is going to be my fresh start

I hope your poker works out well for you and make lots of good progress in this month of Feb. Massive respect for the way you're turning your life around :appl:

Have a great weekend!

For me, selling soul sounds that person don`t want to be religious. I`m not judging iSoOwnYou's recommendation or anything but I don`t think anyone's personal religion should be be based on what religion has most noble principles. It should be something that just feels right (but not anything that is related to satanism or selling soul or anything bad like that...). Even though this comment from me is on bit of a conflict with the fact that I`m Christian myself and I believe there is only one God like there is also those bad things that kind of come with it. You just have to stay on right path and not fall. :)

Hey nutz, good point you make there buddy. Ones faith should be whatever feels the most comfortable and right for the individual in my opinion. I mention the principles because they were what drew me to the particular faith I mentioned and it was an amazing part of my life. I've since lost my faith, but if I hadn't I would for sure be going back down the route I mentioned. Don't mean to derail such a brilliant blog so I'll end my comments on this now, I just wanted to share as I found great power in my own life when I explored before and zap sounded like he was interested in such things. :f_drink:
