Originally posted by thewinner44I've noticed that in Heads up match Snowie advices to open a pot from BU most of the time. But sometimes Snowie advices to open 1/2 pot. Can you tell in which situations Snowie advices 1/2 pot? Is it depending of the hand I have or something else?
Hi,
it is depending on the stack sizes. The button player has the positional advantage and good implied odds if the stacks are deep compared to the pot size. Therefore Snowie likes to raise smaller when the stacks are a bit shallow.

Hi nmarkov2,
I've been working with Snowie for a while, so I will try to answer you why the call was chosen by Snowie. First at all, Snowies advices are based on his own ranges, not on the particular villain range. Snowie does not read your villain HUD or his image based on previous hands, so he doesn't know his range. Snowie does not adapt.
Based on the preflop action (the villain just called on SB and then re-raised) Snowie has assigned quite weak and wide range to villain. Very small percentage of overpairs, little offsuited Aces, some low suited Kings and Queens. Mostly suited and offsuited connectors and semi-connectors. There are no 2, little 6 and 7. So when the flop comes 267 rainbow, its very likely that villain missed the flop and he is just doing standard continuation bet. Hero still got chance to pair his Ace, backdoor flush draw and backdoor straight draw. I suppose Snowie is going to bet a turn if another blank card comes.
This assumption is only based on Snowie's ranges. As I said, Snowie does not know actual villain's range. If you got a read on your opponent and you believe that his range is much stronger (he could be trapping with Aces or Kings) then the fold is a right decision. Snowie is just a learning tool, not an answer to every question. If you learn how to play against a Snowie's range it will be easier to play against of particular villain range.
Regards,
Hi all,

Hey there,
I got the intermediate package on Sunday after already finding the one month trial to be immensely useful so am looking forward to getting the most of this very useful package.
I've inputted the ID into the site here but haven't received the PokerStrategy status upgrade yet. I guess it may take time for that to come through but just wanted to make sure I hadn't inputted wrongly etc.
Cheers and thanks again for a great product!
Charlie
Hello Charlie
I recommend sending a ticket to our customer support.
They can find out why you didn’t receive your status-upgrade yet.
If you have more questions about it don’t hesitate to ask it.

Hi,
there must be some issues with your hand histories. Either they are not supported (tournaments of any form or sites not supported), or there is a bug in our system. The best thing you could do is to check if the hands you are trying to import are supported, here: http://www.pokersnowie.com/faq.html#pokersnowie3.
If they are and still does not work, then please contact our support and send some samples of the hand histories which are failing, so that our team can look into it.
If you would like us to add more supported sites to PokerSnowie, please also drop an email to our support at support@pokersnowie.com with your request.
Thanks,
The PokerSnowie Team
Sorry if the text will not be understanding, I use a translator. Decided to buy your product, but have a question.
Could not find the information on the website and here on the forum.
1) How many computers can I install and use the software purchased with a subscription?
2) If Windovs break and need to reinstall, then the license will not be lost.

Hi,
about point 1), we don't have a defined number of PC, but the EULA states that it's only for your personal use. Moreover, account sharing is not allowed and our system is constantly monitorig this. Therefore you can install it on all your PCs, assuming it's only you using it. Our security department might check with you from time to time if our system detects potential account sharing or related issues.
About point 2), there is no license, what you get is a username (your email address) and passwrod and once you reinstall the software, you can just login with those credentials.
Thanks,
The PokerSnowie Team

Hi,
PokerSnowie supports Texas Hold'em NL cash games and any type of Texas Hold'em NL game which has the same strategy (for example single table SNGs where the winner takes all). Currently you can import into PokerSnowie, and get an automatic analysis, only cash games played on the various sites, but we plan to add also support for SNG.
Thanks,
The PokerSnowie Team
What rake % and rake cap parameters were used for Snowie learning? Rake has huge effect on the results and strategies at different stakes, so this information is important.
