Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A♥ J♥

fold, fold, BTN raises to 2 BB, Hero raises to 7 BB, fold, BTN calls 5 BB

Flop: (15 BB, 2 players) J♣ J♠ Q♦
Hero bets 8.4 BB, BTN raises to 16.8 BB, Hero calls 8.4 BB

Turn: (48.6 BB, 2 players) K♥
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: (48.6 BB, 2 players) 9♣
Hero checks, BTN bets 47 BB, fold

BTN wins 46.6 BB

looking back through the hand i feel as though I probably should have re raised turn. I was only calling to keep worse jacks in but at these stakes i guess they arent really folding JJJ

Normally I like calling to keep his bluffs in but I don't think hes bluffing often with a flop minraise, so he's really liking his hand. In this case I'd probably just value jam flop, he's quite fishy looking and most 5nl regs will also never fold Jx, possibly has a punt with KT also (though I think its unlikely he x/r flop with it).

+1. He can call with any worse jacks, pocket pairs (thinking correctly that he has two pairs), an eventual straight draw...

Ad played, I would fold river too.
