Hero (SB): $29.10 (145.5 bb)
BB: $22.73 (113.7 bb)
CO: $22.42 (112.1 bb)
BTN: $29.88 (149.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q Q
CO calls $0.20, BTN raises to $0.80, Hero raises to $2.20, 2 folds, BTN calls $1.40

Flop: ($4.80) K 3 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.40, BTN calls $2.40

Turn: ($9.60) K (2 players)
Hero bets $3.60, BTN calls $3.60

River: ($16.80) 8 (2 players)
Hero ?

Villain is running 26/16 (35 from BU) for 1k hands; 54 - call 3bet; 1-4bet range. He is folding around 50 % on flop and turn (I do not have the stat for 3bet pots)
Preflop I think, I could get calls from many weaker hands. Flop - betting for value from FDs, second pair type of hands. Turn is a good card for me, plus I think some K combos would raise the flop. Bet size? River - x/c, x/f or b/f?

Hi,

Not too sure about the turn. If he is going to give up 50 % of his hands, we won't see him calling too much there. On the contrary, a pairing card is good for us as it makes it less likely for him to have a K - and he might think that hero won't have a king, so he calls more often. Your sizing is good, too. But you could even ch/call turn.

As played, I think I would ch/re-evaluate river. Most likely going to call. Depends on his river statistics and overall "bet vs missed cbet" and other aggression stats.

X/call might be the correct option on the river even though I think that he has the bloody K. If he is folding in normal pots 50% at cbets on flop, I really doubt he is looser in 3bet pots.

Is it ok to x/c flop and turn?

I don't think he will bet something different from Kx and sets on flop and turn. He would rather check bak his draws and second pairs.

If he does that, then you know perfectly where you are at on turn and can bet T/river for value ;)!

Hey Vasko!

First of all, please have in mind that this is an opinion of a fish!!!!
So... Preflop I am more inclined to 3bet a little bit more, since we are nearly 150bb deep, OOP, he has 50% call to 3bet and his iso range BTN vs the CO fish is really wide.... I think it's really important here to tell us how are we seen in the eyes of the villain (I mean - what's our perceived 3bet range SB vs BTN (when the BTN is isolating a fish it has to be wider), do we cbet a lot in 3bet pots, are we aggressive, etc)
The flop I think is alright, Khigh board is good for a cbet, although we should x/c some of the hands.... The sizing is perfect imo ...
The turn is one of the best cards for us (well, after the Q apparently) - I do think we have more Kings in our range and we can still take value from FD and 88-JJ (I don't really see him have a set or a bottom pair here, I mean - let's not forget we are SB vs BTN - he cannot just call 22-66)... What's bothering me is that you are giving him great price for all those hands, that he would continue with - would he fold his draws or PP if you bet 1/2 pot or a little bit more? I don't think so...
The river is interesting and here is why the trackers are useful - you should really see his stats on the river and then decide what to do! Personally, as you didn't give any info for villain on the river, I would play it as I play the top of our ranfe - JJ,QQ,AA,KJ and KQ (do you have other Kings in your range, I don't think so) ..... That is x/c (if his river aggression is high and you think he would bluff his missed draws) or bet s.th. like 1/4 for pure value....
I hope that makes sense!

Cheers,

Thus will we miss value from weaker hands. With FD he would likely call flop and turn.

Thanks halcyoon, I don't use river stats in my hud, because I usually did not have so many hands with someone (probably would have to change it especially when I play in smaller than stars room now):f_drink:
