Poker Stars $5.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players - View hand 2690397
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

UTG: $14.41 - VPIP: 14, PFR: 9, 3B: 2, AF: 1,3, Hands: 221
CO: $5.07 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 17, 3B: 8, AF: 0,9, Hands: 173
BTN: $5.26 - VPIP: 18, PFR: 14, 3B: 5, AF: 3,1, Hands: 408
Hero (SB): $7.34 - VPIP: 20, PFR: 17, 3B: 8, AF: 3,5, Hands: 28297
BB: $2.61 - VPIP: 44, PFR: 22, 3B: 9, AF: 2,2, Hands: 63

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is SB with K :spade: K :diamond:
UTG raises to $0.15, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.15, Hero raises to $0.70, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.55, 1 fold

Flop: ($1.60) 3 :diamond: Q :diamond: 4 :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.80, UTG calls $0.80

Turn: ($3.20) Q  (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks

River: ($3.20) J  (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $1.84, Hero folds

AQ, QQ , AA , JJ beat us R. On the turn I can`t see any worse hand paying another bet. So I decided to x/fold vs this Nit. River is even easier fold.

Against this UTG, I think you played it fine. I also don't expect him to call nor bet worse, so I think check/folding on the turn/river is fine.

I would bet bigger flop. How about betting turn?

Wasting money imo. He won`t call worse hands and won`t fold better hands.

Do you think JJ-TT would call the flop?

I actually don`t think there`s much point in betting the flop. the guy opens 9% which means utg is much less and he calls a squeeze, his range is exactly JJ, QQ, AK. We massively block AK which we aren`t getting any value from anyways, JJ is folding or we are crushed. And he definately is not calling something like TT as mentioned earlier.
My point is that by inducing a cbet we get much more value than from betting.

So, then he should call the turn as the Q is one of the good hands for him, lowering our Q combos.
