100/200

Hero 7175
SB 4065 (has been sitting out for a lot of hands)
BB 2260

Question: what percentage of hand should I shove with? I thought this should be treated as heads up with 10 effective stack and the 100 on the table is like an ante, so I shoved with the worth hand in poker 32o. Is this a bad play?

It’s not totally the same as a HU match, because the short stack in BB needs still to double up to have a good change to reach at least 2nd place with the SB sitting out. I expect he will call still wide here.
I also put this situation in HRC and you can see here the results.

Normal situation:

Situation with SB sitting out:

HU-situation:

You can see now that the BB can call a lot looser profitable now, because you will shove also a lot wider now.
In a HU situation its again a total different story, but is fun to see this.
