Update :

It has been a while since I've posted. Results were fine this month and I am happy with them. My hourly is still between 6-7euros with rakeback which is I think maximum I can have on mix nl5-nl10. For higher earnings I will have to break my mental blockage and move up finally to nl25+. It will be tough for sure since I am already earning more than a lot of players on nl25 but still, it is the only way to go.

Finally, I've been playing a lot more in the last week and I am planning to keep it this way. In January, my goal is to play on average 40hours per week. It sounds a lot and it is a lot in fact, since there are days like today when I had to stop after only 1.5 hours because of 7bi stop loss. But still, if I want to be professional poker play, I have to act like it.

Update :

This will be my final update this year. It was a great one poker related I have to admit. When I started playing poker, 2 years ago, my goal was to make 600 euros per month and this was only a dream back then since I didn't think it will be possible. In the last 3 months I've earned a bit over 2k euros playing mix nl5/nl10. So, mission accomplished, now I am transferring to a bit different goals.

January goals :

1. Play minimum 150 hours

2. Don't look at cashier and/or netwon (ev net won) at all during January

First goal is self explanatory. I've decided to make poker my profession and I have to take it seriously which means putting more hours. Since I have never played more than 110 hours a month, and I will have more than 5 students, so I'll need to set apart time for coaching, this will be very challenging.

Second one is a bit different. I've figured out that I am too much attached to the money I've won during session. If I start session with 400 euros and finish 430euros, next session I start, I don't want to lose those 30 euros I've earned and it's holding be back, so I play less etc. I know all about variance on logical level, but emotions are obviously stronger and since I can't change how I deal with money won/loss it is better to have no idea how much I have won and lost short term. Fortunately I am over rolled so I don't have fear that I will fall under critical 20bis for a limit.

Since these are somewhat different goals, I will update thread only once a week, since I won't be posting any graphs.

Happy New Year and all the best in 2015!
