Hi guys!
I loose a ton of money in situations like the one below. I probably have a flawed thought process, but were do I go wrong in my thoughts?.
GTECH G2 (Boss) - kr2 NL (5 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4
BTN: 362.77 BB (VPIP: 24.27, PFR: 20.08, 3Bet Preflop: 5.00, Hands: 249)
SB: 149.29 BB (VPIP: 100.00, PFR: 100.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 2)
BB: 156.35 BB (VPIP: 26.53, PFR: 16.33, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 50)
Hero (CO): 134.56 BB
SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB
Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A♥ Q♥
Note: Villain 3B 5% of the time so his range contains basically no bluffs. [99+, AJs+, KQs, AKo] I need 19% Eq to call that tiny 3B, and Equilab gives me 41% so I guess the call is alright.
Hero raises to 3.5 BB, BTN raises to 6 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 2.5 BB
Flop: (13.5 BB, 2 players) K♣ A♦ 5♣
Note: This flop hits me and I'm 65% before the betting starts. Villain C-bets 81% in normal cases so my plan is to check-call his C-bet since I don't think he will check back any part of his range.
Hero checks, BTN bets 10.13 BB, Hero calls 10.13 BB
Turn: (33.75 BB, 2 players) 4♥
Note: the 4h does'nt help any of us and since I believe was in the lead my Eq has now increased slightly. I prefer Check-Check for pot-control since I don't like to grow a big pot. Unfortunately he doesn't comply. So now my first decision: Fold, Call or raise? Folding is to weak here? But calling essentially commits me to the pot?
Hero checks, BTN bets 22 BB, Hero calls 22 BB
River: (77.75 BB, 2 players) 6♠
Note: I go AI to have at least som fold equity. Check-calling wont be profitable here.
Hero bets 96.43 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 96.43 BB
Spoiler
BTN shows 6♦ A♠ (Two Pair, Aces and Sixes)
(Pre 25%, Flop 20%, Turn 14%)
Hero shows A♥ Q♥ (One Pair, Aces)
(Pre 75%, Flop 80%, Turn 86%)
BTN wins 263.85 BB
