SB: $15.96 (99.8 bb)
Hero (BB): $16.97 (106.1 bb)
UTG: $9.48 (59.3 bb)
MP: $15.30 (95.6 bb)
CO: $19.93 (124.6 bb)
BTN: $7.81 (48.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A A
UTG calls $0.16, MP raises to $0.48, 3 folds, Hero raises to $1.76, UTG folds, MP calls $1.28

Flop: ($3.76) 9 Q T (2 players)
Hero bets $2.40, MP calls $2.40

Turn: ($8.56) Q (2 players)
Hero bets $4.16, MP raises to $8.32, Hero folds

MP: 33/33/9 (VPIP/PFR/H)

Preflop: Standard 3bet.

Flop: Not the greatest board, but with overpair, BDSD and BDFD I think I have the best hand often, so decided to cbet. When he calls, I put him on AQ, AK, AJ, KQ and he potentially could have a flushdraw.

Turn: I don't like this turn card at all because I think it hits his range very well. But he still can have those gutshots and flushdraws. I have a feeling that check/folding would be better here. Not sure what I've tried to accomplish with this 1/2 bet.

Villain's calling range is QQ-99, AK, AQ, AJs, KQs.
On the turn you are behind and I do not think the bet is ok.

The flop bet is scared. Either enter checking mode right away or make it bigger, like pot-sized. If he calls, you can probably revert to checking and maybe folding, because then you know. My point is that the board seems to be all his, and by betting that small amount, you are just massaging the pot for him, and are at the same time all but committed to bet once again without knowing where you stand. Some opponents would automatically try to bluff you out. (Don't think that happened though.)

Hi,

Check turn. The bet is bad imo, you'll never get 50% equity vs. villains calling range there.

Can we check/call turn? To get some value out of bluffs?

X/call not only to see him bluff but as we may not be ahead this is the right play.
