Heads up I think this is a snap call, but I really don't know what to do with one person behind. We are pretty strong, and I don't think Villian 1 is shoving with too much. I don't know on this one.

I'm not sure that I would snap call this heads up, depends on the villain. Here we have to fold, I think.

The problem is that the fis h can fo that with fd or some piece of the flop. I do not like calling as there's a player yet to act behind us.

I am curious if you are folding KJ here, what are you calling with?

Against a balanced player you'd probably need a set (six combos unless you play 33 from UTG) and perhaps A♠:3♠: for bluff catching. With a player behind, maybe less. But this is against a balanced player.

Me too. Sure, he can bluff me, but there are better spots to gain value from.

There are plenty of posts around here where people have flopped sets heads up getting good odds and contemplate folding (and are advised to fold). Other posts (like this one), with have absolutely nothing (okay, a pair we have), odds that suck, and face a 5x bet in a small pot MW pot.

These posts all pretty much ask for the same thing. Give me a reason to make a ridiculous fold/call. People often oblige with giving magical reads. "Yes, fold you second nuts to that small bet because they ALWAYS" have it. ITT, it's not that way, but people aren't that far from actually contemplating a call (like saying it is a fold 3-ways).

My advice is to not take any advice in such threads (HUGE folds, HUGE calls) seriously because there is always some nutbag around with a perfect "read".
