I had a pretty decent session with ups:

UTG: $116.65
UTG+1: $156.50
UTG+2: $254.35
MP1: $120.15
MP2: $100.00
CO: $153.75
BTN: $100.00
SB: $177.95
Hero (BB): $103.15

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is BB with K  K :diamond:
UTG raises to $3, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls $3, 5 folds, Hero raises to $14, UTG raises to $115, 1 fold, Hero calls $89.15 all in

Flop: ($209.80) T :diamond: 2 :spade: 8 :club: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: ($209.80) 8  (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($209.80) 9 :club: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $209.80
UTG mucks A :diamond: K :spade:
Hero shows K  K :diamond: (two pair, Kings and Eights)
Hero wins $206.80

and downs:

BTN: $111.20
SB: $100.50
Hero (BB): $100.50
UTG: $225.00
UTG+1: $130.50
MP1: $48.50
MP2: $155.90
CO: $13.40

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is BB with 5 :diamond: 5
UTG calls $1, 4 folds, BTN calls $1, SB raises to $5, Hero calls $4, UTG calls $4, 1 fold

Flop: ($16.00) 4 :diamond: 5 :spade: J :club: (3 players)
SB bets $7, Hero raises to $20, UTG folds, SB calls $13

Turn: ($56.00) 9  (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $35, SB calls $35

River: ($126.00) 7 :club: (2 players)
SB bets $40.50 all in, Hero calls $40.50 all in

Final Pot: $207.00
SB shows J :diamond: J  (three of a kind, Jacks)
Hero mucks 5 :diamond: 5
SB wins $204.00

But all-in all it ended nicely with +$60. Though now looking back at the session I saw that I was playing real nitty style (9/7/5 O.o). I thought I was playing way more looser but ok.

I will probably not make the 5000 hands which goal I set myself because we have fashion show in school and our class is the organizer. But I will try to achieve it.

The best cash week in my life :

Finally I made a +BB week (and 4 buy-ins which is good). I didn't play 5k hands but managed to get goldstar at stars ;).

So next week I will try to make 20k hands at NL100 make it +BB.

So here is the month of November:

So in cash that month got messed because of that NL50 HU try lol but I made up it in this weekend with 2400 hands.

But with $2300 winnings from tourney this month is a success.

Nice work...
I'm getting closer and closer to you...
Soon we'll be playing the same mtt's ... For now I won't go higher than 11$ MTT.

Fo sho ;) Good luck!

Lol had pretty bad session today. Bad because there was 3 hands where I thought I will make hero all-ins or something but 2 of them didn't pay off :/. Those all-ins were somewhat with little back up from reads and time tells. Nevertheless I managed to get day break even.

Some hands:

UTG+2: $86.90
MP1: $131.00
MP2: $105.40
CO: $101.85
BTN: $96.25
Hero (SB): $104.95
BB: $104.50
UTG: $140.20
UTG+1: $91.30

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is SB with Q  K :club:
2 folds, UTG+2 calls $1, MP1 calls $1, 2 folds, BTN calls $1, Hero raises to $8, 1 fold, UTG+2 raises to $22, 2 folds, Hero raises to $90, UTG+2 calls $64.90 all in

Flop: ($176.80) J :spade: 9  K :spade: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: ($176.80) 3 :diamond: (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($176.80) 7 :diamond: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $176.80
UTG+2 shows A :diamond: A :spade: (a pair of Aces)
Hero shows Q  K :club: (a pair of Kings)
UTG+2 wins $173.80
(Rake: $3.00)

He had somewhat fishy stats and I thought he only wanted to steal my big bet.

Hero (CO): $112.60
BTN: $110.70
SB: $52.00
BB: $103.00
UTG: $173.05
UTG+1: $179.35
UTG+2: $95.00
MP1: $103.55
MP2: $106.95

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is CO with 9  8
5 folds, Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, SB raises to $7, 1 fold, Hero calls $3

Flop: ($15.00) T :spade: 8 :diamond: 4  (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8, SB raises to $16, Hero calls $8

Turn: ($47.00) A :spade: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $15, SB raises to $29 all in, Hero calls $14

River: ($105.00) T :club: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $105.00
Hero mucks 9  8
SB shows A :diamond: A  (a full house, Aces full of Tens)
SB wins $102.00
(Rake: $3.00)

It was blind vs blind and ofc I thought he had nothing. Also he almost disconnected and time tell said he had really tough decision.

7 folds, Hero raises to $4, BB raises to $13, Hero calls $9

Flop: ($26.00) 8 :diamond: 6 :diamond: 7 :spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks

Turn: ($26.00) 4  (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $15, Hero raises to $35, BB calls $20

Hero bets $54.50 all in, BB folds

Final Pot: $96.00

Opponent is regular multitabler and I have had all-ins with him before. Lately he started to call my 3-bets lightly + he thought real long before making a decision so I put him on nothing special.

Lol what swingament weekend I had. I played really bad on Saturday and I played ok (not good) on Sunday. It's just that I happened to play against huge fish in one table. He went all-in preflop A7o and stuff like that (we are talking about NL100 FR at Stars). Also he always kept sucking out other guys.

One player who he didn't suckout was me. I won a stack from him at the beginning of session (AK vs A9) and a huge stack at the end of session (almost 3.5 hours after the start of session). It was my biggest cash hand and after that the fish left the building. Here's the hand:

Poker Stars $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players

Timukasr1 (UTG+1): $279.75
HuGaDaS (MP1): $108.80
JoeIngram1 (MP2): $216.20
Pumuckel1 (CO): $98.50
mmmot (BTN): $249.90
yukonhd (SB): $167.20
M.WaRiO (BB): $101.50
notontilt09 (UTG): $100.00

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Timukasr1 is UTG+1 with Q :spade: Q
1 fold, Timukasr1 raises to $4, 3 folds, mmmot raises to $12, 2 folds, Timukasr1 raises to $36, mmmot calls $24

Flop: ($73.50) 8 :club: J :spade: 8 :spade: (2 players)
Timukasr1 bets $40, mmmot calls $40

Turn: ($153.50) 6 :diamond: (2 players)
Timukasr1 bets $203.75 all in, mmmot calls $173.90 all in

River: ($501.30) A :spade: (2 players - 2 are all in)

Final Pot: $501.30
Timukasr1 shows Q :spade: Q  (two pair, Queens and Eights)
mmmot mucks J :diamond: T :diamond:
Timukasr1 wins $498.30

500BB hand - I was scared at the beginning because, as you know, even the fish can have good hands but I trusted my instincts (though yes, the turn overbet is a bit weird - I was nervous then).

So here are the graphs:

Saturday

Sunday

This week

For next week I will try to make less mistakes and end up +BB (more than this week). Also 4k hands is needed.

BR: $2778 FPP: 38 225 (BR will increase soon because I'm ITM in a major tournament ($11-R with prizepool 35k, at the moment I'm 24 out of 145, also I bought a scarf and a hat from PokerStars shop - they have new cool things there ^^).

hope to play on same limit on day. Stupid question: "how many fpps you earn per day in average?"

About 31VPP per 100 hands so usually when I play 600 hands a day I get 186VPP which converts to 372FPP thanks to goldstar in PokerStars.

Is it easy for a NL100 FR player or NL50 FR player to get Goldstar Timukasr?

See you on the same table hopefully, :P

Yes, relatively easy imo, easier for NL100 players ofc. U get about 22 VPP for 100 playing NL50 and about 32 VPP for 100 hands playing NL100. Here is the original post from TribunCaesar >link< though in my opinion those numbers differ a little. Anyway u need 4000 VPP for goldstar in stars so that's about 18 200 NL50 hands and 12 500 NL100 hands. Not hard imo.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if we will be in the same tables because I usually play 50BB min tables only, but we'll see.

Anyway I thought I'd update about my progress which has been going really great. I played 500 hands on Tuesday and 800 hands today. Both sessions ended with +1 buy-in so that makes total of cool +8BB/100.

Recently I have started to play less ABC poker and more aggressive and tricky poker. Like when I have nuts on flop I won't make huge bet every time but pick my situations depending on opponents and other indicators.

I think I'm really a headache for the regulars but it's fun to mess with them (especially when u have 12k+ hands from a single person, so he's like a brother to you ).

Unfortunately I haven't posted hands much because I'm using PT3 and hand posting is somewhat tiresome but I will go back to elephant in the end of this year and then I will be active again.

Also I will try to play a lot this week because from 11-13 dec. you get double strategy points from pokerstars so I will probably try to make it platinum in PokerStrategy.

Here is this week's graph so far:

BR: $3027 FPP: 39 003

Weekends at PokerStars:

Love'em.

Some good hands too:

Poker Stars $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players

Hero (CO): $100.00
BTN: $69.50
SB: $58.00
BB: $99.40
UTG: $125.20
UTG+1: $107.50
UTG+2: $101.35
MP1: $61.65
MP2: $100.00

MP2 posts a big blind ($1)

Pre Flop: ($2.50) Hero is CO with T :club: T
2 folds, UTG+2 calls $1, 1 fold, MP2 checks, Hero raises to $6, BTN raises to $69.50 all in, 4 folds, Hero calls $63.50

Flop: ($142.50) T :spade: 7 :diamond: 9 :club: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: ($142.50) 8 :spade: (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($142.50) K :diamond: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $142.50
Hero shows T :club: T  (three of a kind, Tens)
BTN shows 6 :club: 8 :club: (a straight, Six to Ten)
BTN wins $139.50

That was soul read against boasting fish but then came this hand with the same opponent:

Poker Stars $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players

Hero (SB): $100.00
BB: $133.60
UTG: $56.50
UTG+1: $96.90
MP1: $136.00
MP2: $101.50
CO: $103.90
BTN: $60.15

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is SB with Q :diamond: K
UTG calls $1, UTG+1 calls $1, 4 folds, Hero raises to $6, BB raises to $133.60 all in, 2 folds, Hero calls $94 all in

Flop: ($202.00) 5 :diamond: J :spade: J  (2 players - 2 are all in)

Turn: ($202.00) Q  (2 players - 2 are all in)

River: ($202.00) 3 :spade: (2 players - 2 are all in)

Final Pot: $202.00
Hero shows Q :diamond: K  (two pair, Queens and Jacks)
BB mucks A :spade: K :diamond:
Hero wins $199.00

So poker gods wanted to redeem that fishes luck to me, cool :P.

Unfortunately my week ended with a small downswing. Today was a terrible day, biggest pot which I won was $28 and biggest which I lost was $130. Dunno why I sometimes have these long dry stretches, they are the most irritating (especially when one regular 4-bets u thousand times and when u go all-in he shows AA).

Also I lost quite a lot playing some satelites (only cashing small amounts) and ofc I got huge badbeats in tournaments too. I just hope I will do good today at daily 80k.

I will post another picture which reminds that graph:

BR: $2766 FPP: 41 217

Ship it!

I think I will play it tomorrow, I won a ticket through sattelite ($11.7 touble shootout turbo - easy to beat imo).

I am playing torneys and qualifers today only because I lost 2 buy-ins with cash game in 300 hands due to bad luck and bad play.

Hey Timu

I see its not going well on NL100 :(? Is the only reason the beats you get or is there something you get stuck with?

Looking forward to your reply :)

I think it's standard variance. Also I lost my database the other day and now I have no stats of people and I tend to overplay my hands :/.

Ok, ended todays session and managed to come out of -$390:

I have been playing today for 10 hours straight and will take a break and play daily 80k then.

BR: $2484 FPP: 44 821

This week was ok. I managed to end in +BB side considering cash games and tonight promises to come interesting because I will be playing 8 tourneys including major Sunday Million. Tonight I will be playing these tourneys:

At 14:00 ET $11 Daily Thirty Grand ($30 000 Gtd)
At 14:15 ET $3.30+R NL Hold'em ($40 000 Gtd)
At 14:15 ET $22 1R1A NL Hold'em ($10 000 Gtd)
At 15:00 ET $55 Daily Eighty Grand Sunday Special ($125 000 Gtd)
At 15:15 ET $11 NL Hold'em ($10 000 Gtd)
At 15:30 ET $11Sunday Two Hundred Grand] ($200 000 Gtd)
At 16:00 ET $11+R NL Hold'em ($70 000 Gtd)
At 16:30 ET $215 Sunday Million ($1 500 000 Gtd)

Now back to cash game. First days this week were losing days unfortunately but in the end of the week I managed to pull myself together. I started to choose different table selection compared to my usual selection. Before I chose tables where average pot size was bigger. That resulted in being in 50BB max tables where most of the guys were regulars. That meant that one day I was winning huge and the other day I lost previous earnings.

Now I pick my tables where there are most players on flop and where there are less shortstacks on table. It increases variance but in long term is more useful because I meet fishes more often.

Also I made floating understandable to myself and I'm pretty confident I know when to use it.

Here is this week's graph:

BR: $2417 (because I have registered to tourneys worth of $360 something FPP: 45 609
