$4 180 handed MTT: KK – any chance fold it pre flop?

Hi,

is this correct play? I am asking cos I pushed to AA ;).

If I remember correctly what I read somewhere the answer was never fold KK preflop :evil:.

I would really try to avoid pushing into aces... your kings are simply no good in such a situation.

So my prefered line is asking the villain what he has. If he flashes aces, you have an easy fold.

In all other cases: easy shove preflop.

That's what I wanted to hear

I only fold KK to push on SNG double up format on bublle, cos it is -$EV to Ax hand (if chips are equal and if there is no need get more chips - e.g. there is short stack(s) that will be blinded soon).

so in a MTT there is no way of folding KK.
although you MIGHT consider folding if 3 players in front of you go all in.
and still i think i would call

I open folded kings playing sss (according to elephant) , then full tilt was so mad at me they never won again ♦
