I have the annually recurring problem to buy my relatives original and holiday gifts. Does anyone have any tips? And no, they're not into poker ♦
For who: anyone (sister, mom, dad, grandmother,...)
Price ranges: up to 50€ a piece.
grandmoter - some kind of cloth, grandmoters like that
sister- depends rly, the most neutral thing are those digital photo frames
mom- something for the kitchen
dad- depends whats he's into - a hunting knive, a sword, or a little office bureau fountain.
At least thats the things I bought them last years ♦
It all depends on what they like nad after all it's the idea, that counts, not the gift itselt, at least for the elderly.
It's really easy.
In general, you have two options.
(assuming that you like sweets) You buy nice box of chocolate - they will open when they get it - and you eat most of it.
You don't buy anything and just mention about bad luck when playing poker. If you are lucky they will assume that you are in debts - you can get some extra money.
I know, these were the last 'alternatives' but maybe worthy to consider?
just hand out the 50s IMO. Money beats everything
Chinese New Year is so easy compared to christmas, everyone just gives out money in red packets, no shopping needed.
