Fold preflop or shove. You are 2nd in chips and don't want confrontation with the big stack neither with the shorter stacks. The problem is if you minraise and BB 3bet shove you should call and I dont think I like it. If BU or SB raise you should fold. Open shove is an option too but its a little risky with 18bb effective. If you think the players after you are tight shove is ok.

So all in all shove or fold here.

i prefer the min raise fold vs sb and bu and min raise call the BB. open shove seems a thin +ev spot and i like to play JTs IP. i think 18BB stack is a little bit too deep to go into push or fold mode, especially when the chip leader is at ur left. so u lost 2 BBs here. sometimes all fold and u get the pot, sometimes blind just call and u play pot ip. i like ur play in this spot and would do the same. just cause this time didnt work doesnt mean its a bad move

Nice that you have posted you’re first hand right away.

Shoving for 19bb stack without antes in play is a little to much I think, but you need to call a potential shove of BB here if you open. Also it’s always difficult to play a hand out of position against the big stack. So I would make a tight fold here without any specific reads or stats on the players. Only if the button is pretty tight I would consider a raise here.

As played it’s a clear fold against the SB shove. He will newer shove with a worse hand or he’s a maniac, but than it would be better to fold in the first place.
