First hand I've posted. Honestly I'm not that good at analysing my own hands so I hope you'll be able to show me where I'm going wrong.

This was the last hand I played tonight after losing about $3 in the couple of hours previous. I was slightly tilted and should have spent more time analysing the situation before shoving (if not just quitting for the night beforehand).

Should I have made a smaller bet on the flop?

Cheers :f_drink:

hey man try post your hand in BB format instead of raw text if possible its difficult to read it

in this spot i think I'd be tempted to call AK, the big blind 3betting range should be super strong in general and you end up getting it in often facing KK+ with people potentially calling AK & QQ

As played betting flop and getting it in fine, no way we are folding

Hello watchmen, thats a rare pepe you've got there :) Congrats on you first posted hand. :f_thumbsup:
I'm guessing you're playing MSS not BSS otherwise you should activate the Rebuy-option in stars. BTW, the format of your hand is somewhat hard to read.

Preflop: I would raise to 3bb and call AKs in most cases here (SPR). Against this guy (shortstacked and very passiv so far) it's a flip between shoving and calling.

I don't understand your question. If i'm reading the hand history right (and I'm not sure about that), then you folded out the 100bb deep BTN and got called by the 38bb CO, who has left 5,5bb on the flop with a 75bb pot and you're both committed. Any bet covering his stack of 5,5bb would be fine here.

First, your open raise size is small. I like to open for 3BB.
As villain is shortstack - just push flop. Or make such raise preflop toput him AI there.

If you 4bet, then standard sizing is around 2,25 vs player who has 100bb. Vs short I think it would be OK to shove
Here - player with stats 36/2 squeezing - I would find a fold button here - we will be super happy if he has QQ or AK.
Open raise from CO - more standard is 3bb or 2,5bb

We should definitelly raise 3x preflop and the rest is fine. I don't think we want to check/fold any board when he has just $0,11 left. :) I would shove and try to scare him off, though.

Thanks for all the advice lads! I really appreciate it :f_thumbsup: I'm sorry for not posting in BB--I've sorted that now. I'll increase my open raise and activate the rebuy option. I've got a lot of reading to do on BSS, MSS and SPR now.
