Oops - I'm talking to you entirely in cash mode, when you are playing tournament (I did know that :)) - but I think it holds up even more in tournaments, because you will generally be lower stacked it becomes more important to raise or fold in these situation, because your implied odds are lower. In tournaments the category 1 hands (those that win smaller pots more often) become more important that the category 2 hands (those that win larger pots less often) - because there just aren't deep enough stacks to pay off a large pot.

I have been trying to setup FPDB but all it says is importing hands, left it like that for more than a day bit nothing happens other than importing of hands, still need to figure out how to configure so I can get stats etc.

Thanks again for your feedback :f_thumbsup:

Will change my approach in late position for sure.

Regards

Toyer

I'm afraid I don't know anything about FPDB (I just had to google it to find out what it was)

Both Holdem Manager 2 and Poker Tracker 3 have free trials (30 days I think) if you wanted to try them out.

Used the free trials already, just finished with Xeester's free trial today, maybe one day I will win a copy of HM or PT in the weekly raffle xD

Got this hand on the bubble of a freeroll tournament, luckily somebody else was eliminated while this hand was still in progress so I min cashed for 20c

Should I have gone all-in Pre-flop?

He Toyer,

on the bubble with your goal to be ITM: push to minimize variance
If you want to play most +EV, probably the raise was correct - maybe just 1bb more? I am not a MTT expert though, but villains play looks like "whatever he does..."

Btw, we are missing your update for our BR challenge! Where is it - how is it going on the tables?

Hi SvenBe

I must've updated the wrong thread, I updated the Opt-in thread with a request to take a break from the challenge because I just recently got employed after 2 years of searching, so all my energy will be directed to my employment so I can prove myself a worthy employee. Not easy getting employed if you over 40. As soon as I am settled then I will continue with the challenge.

Regards

Toyer
