SB: $20 (100 bb)
BB: $15.14 (75.7 bb)
UTG: $21.05 (105.3 bb)
MP: $9.20 (46 bb)
Hero (CO): $30.92 (154.6 bb)
BTN: $32.26 (161.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A K
UTG raises to $0.50, MP folds, Hero calls $0.50, 3 folds

Flop: ($1.30) 4 7 5 (2 players)
UTG bets $0.80, Hero calls $0.80

Turn: ($2.90) 6 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $1.80, UTG calls $1.80

River: ($6.50) K (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero...

Villain is 19/14 over 37 hands.

Is there any value in a small bet here? Obviously checking back is a fine play with this hand on this board, but I'm thinking he can have a hand like QdQx, JdJx etc etc that isn't likely to fold versus a 1/5 pot bet.

He called you with 4-to-a-straight and 3 flush cards. I do not feel like betting again.
It feels that we bet on turn so we can check river if we miss.

Yeah that was the plan but do you not think his range is more 99+ than two pair/sets? I can't imagine the average nitreg is folding QQ to a €1.20 bet.

But they are folding JJ-99...
And I am not sure JJ-99 call turn...

In general these very small river bets can be good to boost our winrate but here the board looks so scary that I would just x/b

Even 19/14 UTG has enough flush and straight cards vs us.

I am not really fan of checking river after his check which most of the time exclude him from having flushes and straights, also we hit our card so I think I would VERY THIN but valuebet river

Agree with this, AdXd and 88 and 98s/87s are in his range.

However I also agree with this.
