I understand the turn call but you shouldn't even expect to win every single time when it goes check check on the river. For sure a fold on the river. It would be more difficult if the player bet very small which fish tend to do but vs half pot it should be in the muck for sure.
I think you played it okay.
Vs this particular opponent this is a very easy call on the turn/river .
You have to be pretty confident he's going to donk on the flop if he has anything.
Yeah, I posted this hand because it is a play I do kinda often. I don't need to win everytime, just over 33% for 2/3 pot size bets and I win way more often than that.

(he is not thinking at all at what he represents, his sizing on the river is screaming a bluff. I suppose everyone on the level would fold the river (or turn), so he must be a winning reg for sure)
