I've been doing great the past weeks by winning SnG's and ring games.. but this week? my BR went down from 120$ to 40$... It's like everytime i get AK,KK,QQ or a just a good hand.. There a flush draw, straight draw and everything about it going against my hand .. and mostly when i have an ace it never shows up on the board!? but if this keeps on, im gonna go bankrupt.. at FTP, I let my friend play it and he was kinda drunk.. >.> instead of playing play money he pretty much used up all my Real money.. Just my luck.. Anyways im looking for advice and i'll be updating the changes in my BR! im back at the NL10's again.. Just hate it here...

I won in a freeroll at UB so i can move on to another freeroll which is today and i won 3rd place in another 200$ tournament today..

Thats a way to learn tournament play since winnings are not big

joined a 1500$ tournament and ended up losing at 35th place with AK against AJ.

and at UB I got disconnected in the middle of a hand and cost me more than 50% of my stack so i was pretty much crippled.

very very pissed off..

NOW its just fucking SICK!

i lost with AK again at the UB place 136th

and joined another 200$ tournament and lost with KK against 22..

fucking screw up..

Busting out of tournaments with hands like AK is every day business. In order to win or get far in big tournaments you need to have a healthy dosis of luck (win lots of coinflips) and avoid suckouts.

I busted out of two large tournaments this weekend as well when I pushed my aces and lost vs 33 (instead of moving up to 2x average chipstack just a few players before the money) and then out of another one SB vs BB where the SB pushed first in and I called with TT. He showed T7o, was practically drawing dead (90/10) and won with quad 7s.

You have to learn to not get all too pissed off about it - because in the tournaments that you do win - you will in all likelyhood also dish out a few beats yourself.

luck is about the last thing i get in a tournament. i get my stack by bluffing most of it.

its damn hard when you get morons calling with nothing and flops two pair.

It sucks when it happens but unfortunately it happens... Maybe the psychological articles can help you to overcome these things more easily. Good luck in your future tourneys

just won a 1500$ tournament, and won first place !

well i won 600$ which i quite alot, and cool for me ..

Just came back home, had a live poker tournament in Angeles. 4-5 hour trip from home...

I lost the big tournament, I had AJ against 59.. I raised 5xBB PF, and he gets a straight at the river.

But look at the bright side, they payed for my beer and I won the second tournament which payed for the buy-in in the 1st tournament..

so all is quite good, and i got invited to join another tournament coming this sunday.. But hotels are expensive so i really dont know if i should go.

I'm quite pissed since i got knocked out of the tournament just before the money in 3 tournaments. in a row that is.

dont know what to say so thats it, just pissed!, other bank roll at FTP is soon bankrupt.

Well it has been months since I posted on my blog. SO im just gonna keep on updating the amount of my bankroll and tournaments.

in the past I've won quite many tournaments, last month i won 1,000$ on Party poker and another 300$ and today i won 290$ today, but since ive been withdrawing to be able to cover expenses.

Anyways my current bankroll is 846$. and since i am playing on partypoker I dont get any points here to pokerstrategy.

currently reading A book of Dan harrington, NL Hold'em.

And right now im planning on playing in a 20,000$ GtD. tournament at partypoker but the buy in is 109$, but i tend to do really really good at tournaments and i trust in my skills, So i hope that it will go well.
(And yes i know that is breaking against the BRM.) im still doing the same mistakes.

Btw, i came 33rd in the Tournament, Lost with QQ against AA.
