Could I raise this turn with the plan to check back the river, there are many draws villain could call with, based on the action I think we could be in front most of the time and calling here only gives other players odds on there hands to call behind, and were not planning to call a river bet anyway. but is our kicker to small even though we block Ax, I also think its likely he might bet Ax on the flop when checked to him.

I have moved you’re hand to the hand discussion board, because it’s fits better there.

I would fold A3s pre-flop as cash game fish. I expect you will be to often dominated and than you get in ugly spots like now.

Cheers,

We can call but should have a strict idea what are we going to do postflop.
Raising is not ok on turn.

Call pre is fine.

OTT calling is fine, but IMO folding wouldn't be so bad either.

I would rather squeeze this preflop, but we should check UTG's stats (does he fold to 3bets, does he 4bet alot). Calling is also fine. I think we could bet this flop like 1/2 and plan to bet the turn and check back river. Our hand is not very strong, but we gain an initiative and don't give free cards. We might get some value from Kx or mid pairs. As played, I think the turn is whatever. I would probably fold to this size mwp, but calling is fine, imo.

If there are not active squeezers behind, we should call preflop and play IP postflop.

Pre the call is fine. You call to hit a monster here, a flush, flushdraw or 2 pair or gutshot. On the turn you can bet or check. But on the turn you have definitly to fold.MP bets big, and you have just a 3 outer, so fold.

You say raising is not ok on the turn, why?

I think we don't gain anything by raising here. Villain probably won't fold and he probably has better hand than we do. I think I would fold this OTT.

Villain will call a raise only with hands that beat us, and there are plenty of them. No need to pump the pot.

Why is it ok for you to raise the turn, after he bets so big?

Hi zoty,

That's a good question, I don't know if it is ok to raise the turn witch is why I posted the hand, but here is my view, UTG is the preflop aggresser, and representing strength in this hand, MP called vs UTG, he was unknown, we could assume his range is - 22+, suited broadways, 45s+ I think that's a good start, after UTG check it looks like he's given up, I think MP would most likely bet the flop with any very strong hand in order not to give free cards, so when he checks, and bets pot on the turn when action is checked to him the second time, it looks like he either has a very strong hand, a bluff with a small pocket pair or a picked up backdoor flush draw, if we raise here we charge him for the flush Kx might think we are representing the flush draw too, the plan would be fold to the raise, however my thoughts are changed since posting this hand, and the player is betting pot into 4 players witch looks strong and without any information on him I would rather fold to the turn bet
