Is my preflop call of SBs reraise justified, or am I likely to lose more than I win in the long run with this play?

SB is only 1.8euro , so we dont have odds to set mine, and we wont see good flops for 88 to often, so i would just reraise him pre flop, and in the best case we agains lower pocket pair or just flipin

Thanks Aerox, I think it's a bad habit I've got into. I call far too often with pocket pairs looking to hit the set without thinking about the odds that I'm getting. Something to work on I think!

Just jam pre for 18BB and win the flip against AQ or whatever.

SB stack is 37bb, not 18bb, I think it's close decision, but I would prefer fold>jam>call.

It is not an 18Bb stack, it is double!
Still we can jam... :)
