AA is a good old chunk of his range alright, but you'll kick yourself if you fold and see AK v QQ.

SB cold 4-bets here. Co 5-bets all-in. I can't see any worse hand than AA/KK to do this on NL10. In general you shouldn't be giving up a hand like this versus 5-bet, but these actions are such that you will rarely if ever be ahead. Especially versus guys who look like this. Versus some loose or more aggressive guys I would make a cry call.

It is easy to be wise after the event, he shoudn't have folded the kings and he shouldn't be folding the kings ever preflop. You won't lose or earn money in the long run considering AA vs KK, regardless of which one of 'em you've been holding yesterday. In the end of the month ur gonna have nil from those kind of spots.

I've saved quite a lot money by learning to give up kings in a situation where you are practically against AA/KK. Of course I'm not giving up KK against one normal player, but in situations like this you'll never see queens or worse versus solid players.

given the "micros zoom meta" it's closer than most people think for sure, and in any case it's pretty dogmatic to not even consider folding. that said, this spot hardly matters in the long run

i actually expect a call to be slightly -EV. in practice i'd probably talk myself into calling due to the low samples and whatever, wouldn't care very much

Certainly it's not a "LOL why fold" spot. It's probably one of the only somewhat reasonable questions about folding KK pre I've seen.

However, it's still a CO/BTN/SB between three regs. I really don't think you can 3bet/fold KK here.

No, the real discussion is about ever in your life folding KK versus one opponent, and if so, at which stack depth (150bb+, 300bb+?).

Instead of reasoning "we have KK in CO/BU/SB ware -> call", how about putting the opponents on ranges. In particular, how often will we see QQ+AK? More than 50% of the time which is probably required for our little endeavor?

I don't know, and I don't have the time atm to do calculations with different scenarios. But - I don't think it is a no-brainer to call here. We have less than 7% of the stack invested, accordingly no real "leverage" to commit us to call. Three players instead of two makes a huge difference since there is no way in hell both of them are joking. I'd personally think twice about shoving with AK/QQ if I was the CO, especially if BU (you!) is tight as is SB (this is not something that the story doesn't reveal).

At any rate, calling is allowed since gambling is legal.
