Rough week at cash tables where I run 2 times with KK into AA, but then yesterday two funny things happened. First I decided to try my luck and sat at 2,20$ PokerStars' Cash Blizzard tournament. Among like 1600 tables, my table was one of the first 6 randomly selected for giveaway of 100$ to each player at the tables. Then I tried 11$ tournament, too, but that didn't go well. The 2nd strange thing happened in the evening when I was playing cash. I had AA on the SB and a maniac open raised from the CO. I decided to wait a bit before 3betting, expecting to get the stacks in. When I clicked, nothing happened. My mouse battery cleared out. When I changed batteries, the hand was folded.
If some of you maybe noticed (in reality, probably nobody :D), I don't post that much at Hand Discussions anymore. Part of the reason is that I follow this 5-point plan and there is not much time left for commenting every single hand there (which I used to do). The other part is that I realized that commenting hands that way doesn't improve my play anymore. I came to the point where I think it's better to spend 1 hour to analyse one hand than 20 or 30 of them. So, I will try to analyse my (or others') hands as deeply as I could and not bother about the quantity, while focusing on the quality instead. Here is another hand I tried to analyse like that. I will try to analyse around 5 hands a week because I have alot of other things to do in the learning process, along with playing ~14 hours a week.
Quess there is some weird animosity between me and KK. Some time ago I had problems with this hand which ended in the news section and in last 15k hands my winrate with KK is -32 bb/100. Those are just from the last week:

u missplayed every KK hand u posted, so thats probably the cause for the "animosity"
Didn't look through all hands but yea, that deep call has to be a disciplined fold imo! In the last KK hand where you get c/r I would just fold the flop, he's UTG so his range is already tighter, but on such a dry flop people don't do much crazy shit in 3b pots... They pretty much always have it.

Generally I tend to go all in with KK+ preflop, I don't think it can very often be a missplay. The latest hand is analysed in hand discussions forum so it can be checked there, but I pretty much put him on 99+ and I am favorite vs this range and I don't think he will fold any part of it to my 3bet when he was villing to raise. I don't think I can ever fold this on the flop in 3bet pot because I'm pretty sure that would fold too much in that case. In all hands we could just argue should I call at some point or raise, imo, but I don't want to fold KK just because I have a magical read that someone has AA (or a set in the latest hand).

Yea, the 66 hand was a brutal mistake. I just clicked it in less than a second and allready knew that I will lost it. KK hand, could be that they have it more often than not, but I saw guys to do this with overpairs + I would expect AA to 4bet preflop without specific read. I don't think I can fold this in 3bet pot almost ever. For me the question is should I call or 3bet.
if u're happy with the results u're getting, by all means keep doing what u're doing
my """""""""""""""""""""""magical"""""""""""""""""""""""" reads work pretty good for me

More often than not I see people call down TT-QQ... instead of raising. Exceptions being fish or rly odd regs. In regular pots, sure. 3b pots however, are different. But if you think otherwise, then... why not. If you are of the oppinion that he's doing it mainly with overpairs, just clickitback and be happy. Clicking it back tends to work rly well on micros (when it comes to inducing calls/reraises). You're way ahead anyway. I'll still just fold though

Good for you. I will keep trying to stack off preflop with KK in 99% of cases and be happy about it.
I've just searched my HM2 and have 5 hands this year where I was check/raised as a preflop 3bettor and where I saw a showdown:

Since my major problem atm is playing vs cbets, where I fold too much to flop and turn cbets, along with raising way too less, I will dedicate my further analyses to those spots, hoping it will help me to improve in that field. So, here is one analysis from Hand Disscusions:

Hero checks, MP bets $1.01, Hero foldsPreflop: I call this hand by default SB vs MP. I would rather 3bet bluff if I would have an aggressive BB. I don't think I can 3bet AQo for value in this situation, at least vs an average opponent. This player plays 18/17 in 341 hands and his MP RFI is 23%. I believe his RFI range is something like this:
My standard ranges in this situation are:
Flop: I hit two overs and weak BDFD so I believe I don't want to fold. I want to defend at least 60% of my range there in average to not be exploitable. This player cbets flop when in position in 78% of cases (9 occasions) and turn in 40% of cases (5 occasions), so I assume he is quite aggressive on the flop, but slows down his aggression on the turn a bit, even the samples are small. On this flop, I believe he would cbet the majority of his preflop range, something like this:
His stats tells me that I don't want to fold flop in most situations, but I have to be a bit more carefull on turns and I would usually attack most rivers by probe bet if he checks the turn, either for thin value if I hit TP or as a bluff if I hit nothing. First I will create my defending range vs cbets on this flop and it could look like this:
So it is a bit more than 60% of my preflop range, but I think it's fine. I think we can have a check/raising range on this board, so I would check raise sets for value, which is 9 comobs. That means that I need to check raise 18-20 combos as a semi-bluff, so I would choose 88-77 (12 combos) since they make a gutshots and probably AdKx and AdQx (6 combos), AcKc, AcQc, AcJc (3 combos), so my check/raising range would be this:
I believe that nut flushdraws would be strong enough to check/raise for value there, but since we have sets in our range, probably we can check/call those. My check/calling range would be this:
So, I'm calling AcQd here. My entire flop check/calling range on this board has 58% of equity against his assumed cbetting range. AcQd specifically has 48% of equity.
Turn: On this turn card, I believe he would check back some of his flop bluffs, so his cbetting range will be:
Against that range my flop check/calling range now has 44% of equity and AcQd specifically just 20% of equity. So, I think I can now fold my AKo and AQo, so my check/calling range would be:
This range has 55% of equity against his assumed turn cbetting range. Maybe I can bluff check/raise KcQc..MP: 18/17/23/78/100(1)/40/9,3/341 (VPIP/PFR/MP_RFI/IP_FlopCB/IPFlopCB-Fold/IP_TurnCB/AF/H)
It`s good that you make advanced analizes, but this one is completely wrong!18/17 guy will never have 23% RFI in MP. Pay attention to the sample! I assume his RFI is 10-15% in MP. So you have try it back! I would simply fold this hand OTF.
