Okay guys, I cheated a bit today... I had a peek haha

Seems to be working, so i'm never going to check results during a session as it really must effect me.

If i feel i have to check it MUST be after a session has finished and I can't play again that day.

Here's my graph starting to look sexy... :profit:

Bankroll : $125.84 (+$40.59)
Points to gold : 1246

Let's keep it going !!!!!!!!! :sfishy:

Yeah, not looking at the cashier will do wonders for most people! it can be dangerous for some, if they are unable to detect when they are playing on tilt and end up losing perhaps too much $$ but overall it's a great thing! it's one that I also practise. Seeing the results (esp WHILE you play) soon after sessions just makes you tilted because you're emotionally connected to it... seing it at the end of the week lets you disconnect better from the emotional swings...

Regarding redline and 10bb wr I am not sure I can completely agree, I have a 10bb wr for my Micro challenge and my redline is def doing down. It's nowhere near breakeven. Ofc it helps if it's not completely skydiving either :f_biggrin: imo really good tiltcontrol, not playing too long sessions etc is what gives you 10bb wr, more than your redline. GL! :f_thumbsup:

Thanks Vonki!

Yeah i'm going to try and only look once a week and if i have to look then i can't play again that day.

Yeah as you can see in my latest graph my red line is still going down but i'm much more aware of what i need to do to combat a severely losing red line and try and implement this into my game by 3-betting more and betting twice if guys fold the turn a lot. This is a complete re-education for me so apologies if my theory is slightly wrong.

To be honest this is the first time i've ever felt like i'm constructing a game-plan so everything is fairly new to me and with all these adjustments it will help my beat the micro stakes. I have been working a lot on my game over the last 2 weeks since i bought gold status and i can feel it doing me the world of good. I actually feel like i am going to beat a limit instead of just jumping around like a fish!

- just a small update as i'm about to start my Saturday night grind before the UFC tonight and im going to have to block my ability to see the cashier and HM2 results again.

COME ON MCGREGOR!!!!!!!! :

Put in quite a few hands today and i'm running deep in a $1500 Guaranteed on 888 so decided to stop to focus on the MTT and checked my results on HM2.

Currently 4/16 on the MTT so hopefully i can make it my second MTT win ($400 up top)

Here's my cash graph so far :

Not sure what my bankroll is as i bought into ~ $8 worth of tournaments and i'll be adding what ever i get later too.

Wish me luck !? :roto2:

What an excelled weekend !!

Starting to play well @ NL6 and crushing 25bb/100 - obviously running well too!

Came 3rd in a $1500 guaranteed tournament giving me $222 (proof below ;) ) Seem to be running well in tournaments too :)

I am going to stay on NL6 for a while for at least 20k hands because i feel i am crushing but I could just be running hot :sfishy:

Bankroll : $362.87

Goals for the rest of December
- reach 20k hand on NL6
- reach $400 roll
- check results only on a Sunday
- add some soft NL10 tables (1-2 max) while 6 tabling.
- reach another final table in MTT
- hit Gold status on 888 (jumps from 4% to 9% rakeback)

I also plan on withdrawing $200 to redeposit as 888 often offers reload bonuses and I plan on staying here a while so will give me a better rakeback %.

How often have you gotten offers about reload bonuses and what have they been?

See when you are in the cashier and go to the deposit page? Stay on it for a few mins and a live chat box will appear and will ask you if you plan on reloading. It's usually $10 for $100 or sometimes tournament tickets depending on the promotions running. I just want to make sure I can withdraw then get it because it does seem a little strange.
It's obviously worth doing if you don't need to withdraw for a long time again as you have to wager it a certain amount of times. I'd have to check to find out exactly.

Every time I asked them they have declined me :( if you get any offers, let me know? :f_biggrin:

I got one tonight but they said it was only available while the chat box was open. Deposit $200 for $18 instant or $300 for $30.

Spoiler

I didn't take them up as i cant really afford it and i have decided not to withdraw at the moment as i've lost a few BI's on NL10.

So I've played about 4k hands mixing 6NL and 10NL and it was a little swingy, dropped a few BIs and had to have a tilt break. Then came back fresh and won them all back so I think I must be sitting about $350 but I've not checked the cashier.

I did notice on HM2 I am losing from UTG so I need to take a little break and work on that so tonight will be studying and not playing so I can sort out a couple of small leaks.

I am winning on all limits apart from my shot on regular NL10 for some reason so I'm a bit of a perfectionist and want this to be in the green too so my plan after studying is to play some more regular NL10 tables.

Because I'm going on holiday I'm going to struggle to play the volume needed so if anyone has any links or anything to work out how many hands I'd need to hit gold status that would be great.

I'm considering playing 3 x 5NL snap and 3 x 10NL snap because 888 only allows 6 tables. Only till the end of the month as I need to build a database anyway and snap is not supported by HM2 although it does record results.

Just check how many status points is needed for gold, I believe at 888poker you get 2 status point for $1rake, so devide the number with 2 and you'll know how much rake you have to pay. Then calculate how much rake you pay per 1k hands on average and you'll get the number :)

Jup you need to rake in 750$ for gold status. Rake is about 10bb/100 for 6max games. So $5 per 1k hands on NL5 and $10 per 1k hands at NL10. So if u conbine 50/50 you get $7.5 per 1k hands, meaning u need to play 100k hands, meaning 80-100 hrs 6tabling snap :)

Thanks Vonki + tomzy

Well if that is the case I need to rake $570 which I don't think is possible in 14 days. I need 1133 points to hit gold.

Maybe have to leave it for now and just work on my game to hit a higher limit rather than focusing on rakeback.

I will do some more calculations when I get home and see HM2 etc.
